00:00 >> Did the NCAA ever get back to you on your Zach Durfee tweet?
00:02 >> Man, they haven't got back to me.
00:04 I don't know what's going on.
00:05 If anybody at the NCAA hears this, man, y'all need to free Zach Durfee.
00:10 He's a good man, a great player, and he deserves to be out here on this field.
00:14 All the work that he's put in, he deserves to go out there on Saturdays and
00:17 display it.
00:18 So I don't know who's the top of making that decision, but man, come on, be real.
00:23 >> There were a number of you who were kinda tweeting about that.
00:26 Was that an organized effort?
00:28 >> I mean, yeah, we're just trying to raise some sort of awareness of it.
00:34 Cuz for us, it's like, that must be the issue, right?
00:37 Is people aren't aware of what's going on.
00:39 Because if people are aware of this situation and
00:41 they know how he still doesn't have eligibility, it really makes no sense,
00:46 honestly.
00:46 So for us, it's just about getting the message out there and
00:48 everybody to hear what is going on.
00:50 So that way, they can get him his eligibility so
00:53 he can come out here and play with his brothers.
00:55 It's honestly ridiculous.
00:56 >> What kind of player is he, from what you've seen in practice?
00:58 >> He's a doll, he's in the trenches and he fights.
01:01 We have an on-scout team cuz he's not able to play on Saturdays and
01:04 he gives us the best looks.
01:06 He goes out there and competes every single snap.
01:09 And that's hard to do as a scout guy,
01:10 especially when you don't have the motivation of being able to go out there
01:12 on Saturdays.
01:13 So for me, knowing how he plays on scout just like that, how much motivation and
01:17 how good he could be as a player if he was allowed to go out there and
01:21 play would make a huge impact.
01:23 So hopefully, soon that'll happen.
01:25 >> Sorry, I came in late, but I think it's North Carolina.
01:28 Is it Ted Walker?
01:29 >> Yeah. >> Kind of the same exact circumstances.
01:31 Is it just something where you feel like maybe, like you said,
01:34 just not enough attention?
01:35 And maybe it's because they were making a bigger stink out of it?
01:38 >> Yeah, maybe so.
01:39 I think that probably has something to do with it.
01:42 But yeah, I seen Ted get his eligibility like he should.
01:46 And I feel like Jack Durfee deserves the same respect and
01:50 the same amount of awareness.
01:51 So hopefully the message get out there and NCAA wakes up a little bit.
01:56 But I just wanna do whatever I can to get him on the field cuz he deserves it.
02:00 >> I know that the team, I mean,
02:02 obviously the team have rallied around him in social networks.
02:04 But how about on and off the field?
02:06 Have you guys been able to try to kind of keep his head in the game?
02:09 >> Yeah, absolutely.
02:09 Like I was just saying that on scout, he's a baller.
02:13 He goes out here and gives the best effort every single play cuz he wants to do it
02:17 for us and his efforts are gonna be valued.
02:20 And we want him to be able to do that on Saturdays.
02:22 So for us, like I said, I think the team has done a great job of trying to get
02:27 awareness of it and whatever they can do behind the scenes of the NCAA,
02:30 however it works.
02:31 But for me, I just wanted to send it out there like, man, free derf, free derf.
