00:00 Welcome to Mojo Plays and today we're taking a look at the 10 most difficult levels in
00:05 Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
00:10 Fluff Puff Peaks Palace
00:17 Fluff Puff Peaks Palace isn't as grueling as the other levels, as it is to say, 10 times
00:23 faster.
00:24 Granted, this level isn't a pushover either.
00:27 Sure, you'll have to deal with a good number of hammer bros and dry piranha plants that
00:31 can waddle into you.
00:32 However, the fight with Bowser Jr. is why we're calling this as one of the first hard
00:37 levels.
00:38 Upon triggering his own Wonder Flower effects, the floor changes into a sticky goop that
00:42 can make running and jumping a hassle.
00:44 Also, it can change into ice, which means you'll be sliding around all over the place.
00:48 Luckily, a good elephant fruit will come in handy to make his shell attacks a bit of a
00:57 joke.
00:58 Knuckle Fest - Bowser's Blasting Beats
01:01 The course isn't called Knuckle Fest for giggles.
01:04 Prepare to run from a lot of big Bowser fists, and there are a lot of big Bowser fists.
01:11 Not only that, you will have to make use of platforms that only move when you land on
01:15 them.
01:16 Sadly, certain jumps and pressure will affect how far these platforms move.
01:20 It all ends with an intense performance where Bowser's fiery fists are timed to the beat
01:25 of the music.
01:26 Had they not thrown in homing bullet bills, we probably would have got through this with
01:30 very little trouble.
01:32 A Final Uncharted Area - Poison Ruins
01:41 Poison stages have had a notorious reputation among Mario fans ever since the new Super
01:45 Mario Bros.
01:46 era of 2D Mario games.
01:48 These levels are often the most annoying because of weird enemies, auto-scrolling levels, and
01:53 meticulously placed collectibles.
01:55 That's pretty much the same spiel for Poison Ruins in Mario Wonder.
02:00 The first half sees a toxic river rising up as you try to jump up and trigger flowers
02:05 to reveal your path.
02:06 Then you have the Wonder Flower effect of turning into a slime for the second half,
02:11 which makes for some tricky and trippy traversal.
02:14 Don't rush it, remember that there is no time limit going against you.
02:24 Jump Jump Jump - Fluff Puff Peaks
02:25 Though it is located in Fluff Puff Peaks, its place in the second world does not lessen
02:30 how hard it truly is.
02:32 Jump Jump Jump might be the first level in the game most would describe as difficult.
02:36 For this course, you will need to run and jump as blocks appear and disappear along
02:41 with the music.
02:42 Interesting is that this is not like the beat blocks seen in 3D World or Galaxy 2.
02:47 Once these blocks disappear, there is no backpedaling.
02:51 Every jump needs to be precise.
02:53 One misalignment or one second of slow movement can result in your death.
02:59 Make sure you aren't using any badges that affect your jump.
03:02 Dragon Boneyard - Dragon Boneyard
03:07 For some, the Dragon Boneyard can be as ghastly as the course's name.
03:12 In this level, you are almost constantly having to move as you try not to fall off the spinning
03:16 dragon bones.
03:18 It gets even tougher once you've triggered the Wonder Flower as one dragon will spring
03:21 back to life to take you to the real flagpole.
03:24 However, he does have a tendency to spin around a lot, so make sure you can time your jumps
03:30 and not spring into a panic so easily.
03:38 Deep Magma Bog - Flying Battleship
03:47 The battleship levels have always served as brutal gauntlets to sprinkle in between normal
03:51 levels and fortress levels.
03:53 Of the battleship levels in Wonder, the one in Deep Magma Bog is going to be a tough one.
03:59 The homing mecha koopas are one thing, and they are kind of easy to deal with thanks
04:03 to their slow movement.
04:05 But then you have flamethrowers that need to have handles pulled to temporarily subside
04:09 them, and later on, the Wonder Flower will bring forth Bowser to blast you to bits, and
04:14 he is way more aggressive here than he is in previous encounters.
04:24 Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills - We have seen our fair share of gruesome stages where bullet
04:29 bills are flying from every direction, Super Mario World and Lost Levels spring to mind.
04:35 Mario Wonder takes it up a notch by giving us a new kind of bullet bill to fear, the
04:40 Seekers.
04:41 These guys will target you in almost an instant, and even if it misses, it will simply stick
04:47 itself onto whatever surface it hits and fire again.
04:51 What's worse is that much larger variants will appear later on.
04:55 Best make sure your reflexes are on point.
04:57 The final battle, Bowser's Rage Stage -
05:11 Well of course the final course would be on here, it's the final course.
05:15 Why would this be a cakewalk?
05:17 Bowser's Rage Stage is quite literally a rage stage.
05:21 In here, wonder effects happen every so often, making it difficult to anticipate the next
05:26 obstacle or enemy.
05:28 In fact, just about every wonder effect you've seen before will pop up here alongside other
05:33 effects.
05:34 As for the final bout with Bowser, it is by far one of the hardest duels with the Koopa
05:38 King we have had to endure.
05:40 Make sure you have an extra powerup handy for this one.
05:48 Special World - For the most part, the main six worlds of
05:57 the Flower Kingdom can be challenging, but doable.
06:00 For those wanting that difficulty cranked beyond 10, Special World will give you a run
06:05 for your money.
06:06 And no, we are not naming any specific courses here because every level in Special World
06:11 is incredibly tough to beat.
06:13 It is Special World, after all.
06:15 If you absolutely want to fully conquer Mario Wonder and acquire every single Wonder Seed
06:20 in the game, you will have to endure courses like Bounce Bounce Bounce, Way of the Goomba,
06:25 and Wonder Gauntlet.
06:26 However, there is one course that is so obscenely difficult that it demands an entry of its
06:33 own.
06:38 The Final Final Test Badge Marathon - Not only is it the final course in Special
06:51 World, it is the ultimate test in your knowledge of Mario Wonder.
06:56 The Final Final Test Badge Marathon will, as the name implies, force you to utilize
07:01 every single major badge in the game to reach the end of the course.
07:07 Understanding their core mechanics isn't going to save you, though.
07:10 You will need to execute some pretty tricky maneuvers, conquer this stage, and you will
07:14 truly understand what it means to be undeniably, unequivocally, wonderful.
07:32 What do you think is the hardest level in Super Mario Bros. Wonder?
07:37 Did it make our list?
