00:00 >> All right, good day of work.
00:01 I'm really proud of the guys that are giving us a look this week.
00:03 The look is extremely important, playing obviously a really talented team.
00:06 Brock Thomas is doing a good job over there of extending plays and
00:10 making it challenging for us.
00:11 On the defensive side of the ball,
00:13 several guys on defense doing the same thing for our offensive unit.
00:15 But tough challenge, today was a good third down red area day,
00:19 plenty of stuff to clean up, we're gonna open it up.
00:21 >> Cedar wise, who gave you guys a good look, or has been giving you guys a good
00:23 look? >> We have several guys over there that
00:25 have done a really good job.
00:26 It'd be hard for me to single one of them out.
00:28 There's been a bunch of guys that do a great job.
00:30 >> Their first drive on offense every game, they're pretty good, they get scores.
00:33 >> They're good on pretty much every drive, every game.
00:36 >> What makes them so good right out of the jump in?
00:38 >> Yeah, I just think that they have a rhythm and a sequence.
00:41 They have a quarterback that can make the plays, and
00:43 they've got a lot of talent around them.
00:45 They probably don't get enough credit for the run game.
00:46 Their running back's really good, does a really good job.
00:49 Their O line's one of the better O lines we've seen.
00:51 So just overall, offensively, they're very efficient.
00:54 >> You faced Marshall back in 21.
00:56 How have you seen him kind of improve since then?
00:58 What kind of challenges does he pose to his defense?
01:01 >> He's a big, strong back.
01:02 He can run, catches the ball well in the backfield.
01:05 But just in general, it's a big back.
01:08 It's not a kind of guy you can just duck tackle.
01:10 You gotta wrap up.
01:11 It's gonna take a lot of hats to the ball.
01:13 Doesn't go down, rarely goes down on first contact.
01:15 So it's gonna be a good challenge for us.
01:18 >> Do you look at the fact that they've lost three of their last four as something
01:21 where you can expose their weaknesses, or
01:23 as a motivator, they might have a chip on their shoulder?
01:25 >> I don't really look at any of that.
01:27 I'm looking for our team to play our best game, and
01:29 we know we're playing a really good team.
01:30 >> How's your base thinking back in 2018 when he was a fan?
01:34 Anything schematically that just holds true and
01:37 just holds similar from what Lincoln still does years later?
01:40 >> No, I mean, ultimately, obviously, they're really good on offense.
01:43 Lincoln's a great play follower.
01:45 He does a phenomenal job of scheming up plays game to game.
01:48 I think he does a good job of keeping it simple and getting the right looks.
01:51 They see you in certain looks, they take advantage of it.
01:54 So overall, this is a really good offense, as good as we'll see.
