00:00 Hi, I'm Louie and I'm 7 years old and I'm a wildlife warrior.
00:07 I've liked animals my whole life and when I was 4 I became a wildlife warrior.
00:17 I was inspired by the Irwin family and David Attenborough to look after animals on our planet.
00:28 And now these are some of the things I do for wildlife conservation.
00:34 I started the Waste Warriors team at my school.
00:38 First it started with my year 1 class.
00:42 I went to Bunnings and got some clothes and vests.
00:45 And every lunch we go out and we collect rubbish for about 40 minutes.
00:54 Now we have so many people wanting to help that I've become the leader of the group.
01:01 This year I got a pet bearded dragon for learning how to care for reptiles.
01:10 My mum and I made a wildlife rescue kit for the car.
01:16 I made t-shirts for fundraising.
01:29 I also get succulents and bracelets and sell them at my favourite store, Juniper.
01:37 I want to make sure that wild animals have safe homes to live in and food to eat.
01:44 Teaching people to love animals will make them want to protect them too.
01:50 Everything I do makes a difference.
01:54 All the money I raise goes to Australia Zoo to help people like Robert Irwin
02:02 and the staff at the wildlife hospital to get animals back into their habitats.
02:08 Animals have a very special place in my heart
02:12 and I don't want to see them become extinct.
02:16 Crikey, let's do this!
