00:03We are asking people what they love about it. Here's what they said.

00:06I've been coming to bong bong since I was a little girl as my dad was on the committee for some 60

00:12years prior to his passing away last year and we always used to love coming for the atmosphere

00:20and getting dressed up and when we were little we would go up the hill and run down the hill

00:26to watch the horses finish and we just love the races and it's a wonderful

00:31community event and it's great that it's still happening.

00:34Well I love the races because we've been coming here since, well I have, since 1956 which is

00:40quite a long time now when it first reopened. At least it started up again in a very old

00:48fashioned way compared to what it is today and have watched the grounds grow and I just

00:52love the day out and meet up with people and friends and of course today I think is probably

01:00the piece de resistance. It's just beautiful and there doesn't seem to be any threat of rain or

01:06wind or anything nasty so it's going to be a lovely day. Thank you.

01:13but definitely a chance to dress up and that it's local.
