00:05 Here to recap the Mavs vs. the Orlando Magic.
00:09 They came in to Orlando on their first second night of a back-to-back of the season.
00:14 Last year they were 3-10 in such games.
00:18 But despite falling down by 15 for the second consecutive game,
00:23 the Mavs ended up coming back again and ended up winning by 15.

00:30 So it was a 30-point turnaround for the Mavs in Orlando,
00:35 second night of a back-to-back.
00:36 It was also their third game in four nights.
00:40 Just a lot of grit shown by the Mavs.
00:42 And I mean this is a team that has been thrown together over the summer.
00:47 There's several new players that have yet to really establish their chemistry
00:53 with all the other guys, but yet they're still winning.
00:57 And they're starting the season 6-1 now.
01:01 They've taken care of all the games they're supposed to take care of.
01:03 This was their best win of the season.
01:05 The Magic were 4-2 going into that game.
01:09 Statistically they had been the best defensive team in the league.
01:13 So for the Mavs to go into away territory and to get that win is pretty big for them.
01:21 And now they'll get a day of rest before they take on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
01:26 And then they'll play their second in-season tournament game on Friday
01:31 against the Los Angeles Clippers and newly acquired star James Harden.
01:36 So we'll get our first look this weekend at Luka and Kyrie
01:41 versus the three-headed monster that the Clippers have with James Harden,
01:44 Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.
01:48 The Mavs struggled with rebounding in the last couple of games,
01:54 and that continued in this one against Orlando.
01:56 They lost the rebounding battle 38-31, but the Mavs overall defensively
02:03 really locked down the Magic in the second half.
02:07 They gave up 66 first-half points, but then in the second half
02:11 they only gave up a little over 30 points total to the Magic.
02:16 Kudos to Jason Kidd for having a game plan after halftime
02:22 to kind of analyze what was going on and put a stop to it.
02:27 He has done a pretty good job this year.
02:29 Fun fact, the Mavs are 6-0 in games that Jason Kidd coaches.
02:34 So the one game he was out because he was sick when the Mavs played in Denver,
02:38 they ended up losing by 11, but they're undefeated
02:41 when Jason Kidd is on the sidelines this year.
02:44 The Mavs, they're rolling.
02:46 They're going to continue to roll going into Wednesday's game
02:49 against the Toronto Raptors.
02:52 Whether they're able to win or not, we'll see,
02:55 but they are in a good groove right now, and it looks like Luka and Kyrie
03:00 are just starting to ramp things up.
