00:14 Muslims heavily supported in the previous presidential elections
00:18 President Biden and the majority of the Muslims
00:22 overwhelmingly support Democratic Party.
00:26 But the response from President Biden, Secretary Blinken,
00:30 and the whole Democratic Party was very distressing.
00:37 The overwhelming response from the community is
00:40 we are just going to sit out. We are not going to vote.
00:44 I think it is really going to hurt the Democratic Party.

01:03 Something has fundamentally broken in the hearts of many Muslim and Arab American Democrats.
01:09 They don't see the President treating Palestinian lives and Israeli lives equally.
01:16 Many people see the President as green-lighting the far-right government of Netanyahu and Israel,
01:22 which does not believe in Palestinian human rights,
01:26 which does not believe in Palestinian statehood.
01:29 We are seeing this generation come out into the streets in America at protests and rallies
01:34 because they are a pro-peace and they are an anti-war generation.
01:38 And if we don't have young people turn out like they did in 2020 or 2022 for Democrats,
01:44 I don't see how Democrats or President Biden can win re-elections.
01:49 [indistinct speech]
01:53 Biden has been helping Israel a lot.
01:56 We are losing a lot of family members back home and it has been hurting us.
02:00 It is really sad seeing what is happening.
02:03 The things that are going on right now, Arab people feel like they are in danger right now in America.
02:08 That is how it feels like because some people walk around,
02:13 they are scared to say they are Arab just because of the things that are happening right now.
