NLEX says traffic flow was smooth on All Saints' Day

00:23 Here in Balintawak Toll Plaza, there were times when only few vehicles entering the
00:26 expressway aside from the lanes designated for vehicles installing RFID.
00:31 According to Enelec's Senior Manager for Traffic Operations, Robin Ignacio, the peak
00:35 of motorists passing through Enelec's was last Friday until Saturday afternoon.
00:39 While they expect a surge of motorists coming back in Metro Manila.
00:42 "We were expecting it to be Saturday, November 4th, yesterday we were expecting it to be
00:53 Sunday, November 5th, yesterday.
00:55 It was early morning, November 6th, Monday."
01:00 In anticipation of this, Enelec's management assured it has enough personnel to assist
01:04 in the expected surge of returning motorists.
01:06 Ignacio said they have deployed around 1,500 personnel which includes toll tellers, patrol
01:11 crews, incident response teams, traffic marshals and security staff.
01:16 He also stressed there are no road closures or ongoing repairs in Enelec's.
01:19 "We have no doubt that there was an incident that caused a severe congestion.
01:25 We only have minor accidents but it was quick to clear.
01:29 Until now, we have no doubt."
01:33 Enelec's management reminds all motorists to make sure their vehicles are in good running

01:38 In addition, the drivers themselves must also be in top shape physically and mentally to
01:42 avoid any untoward incidents and road mishaps.
