00:10 image depicting Art the Clown from the popular "Terrifier" slasher series in his holiday
00:15 vest. Not only that, but the bottom of the poster reads, "Damian Leone's 'Terrifier 3'."
00:21 Considering the abundance of fan art made from the film series, there was debate whether
00:26 or not this was leaked promotional material or just the work of yet another "Terrifier"
00:31 enthusiast. Well, Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse have both cleared the air to confirm that
00:36 the poster was legitimate and that "Terrifier 3" will be a Christmas horror movie.

00:43 The announcement comes paired with the theatrical re-release of the 2022 hit "Terrifier 2" on
00:49 November 1st, which will include an exclusive sneak peek teaser for the holiday horror slasher.

00:56 "For those of you speculating that the 'Terrifier 3' teaser is just gonna be some 22nd gimmick,
01:02 I assure you it's a legit teaser trailer. It's over two minutes long, and you're gonna

01:09 The screenings will also include a special introduction from Leone, but details regarding
01:13 what that entails have not been made public. Thus far, the "Terrifier" films, including
01:19 the short film "All Hallows' Eve" that introduced us to Art the Clown, have all taken place
01:23 on Halloween. The new Christmas setting is a brand new playground for the killer clown,
01:28 and gives Art the space to join the ranks of a well-loved, but often overlooked, holiday
01:32 tradition.
01:33 When you think about it, the holiday season is not always the most wonderful time of the
01:38 year. Songs like "Let It Snow" are a curse to anyone who has had to wake up and dig their
01:43 car out of the driveway and scrape layers of ice off of their windshield before a morning
01:47 commute. Not to mention, plenty of people loathe the obligatory family gatherings often
01:53 required throughout the season. This is why Christmas horror movies, especially Christmas
01:57 slashers, have remained so popular. They're a testament to the darker side of it all.

02:07 slasher classics, and gateway horror films like "Gremlins" and "Krampus" have become

02:49 Damian Leone has a tradition of trying to one-up his own brutal ideas, so "Terrifier
02:54 3" will certainly be loaded with gory goodies. This surprise new installment is the result
02:59 of the unbelievable success of "Terrifier 2," which brought in over $15 million at the
03:04 international box office against a reported $250,000 budget. "Art the Clown" is also quickly
03:10 becoming a horror merchandise juggernaut, with horror convention floors flooded with
03:15 his unsettling makeup on backpacks, T-shirts, mugs, stickers, and the like. Even the littlest
03:21 horror fans are drawn to the figure, with Leone admitting that he's met toddlers who
03:26 have actually watched the "Terrifier" films before they're old enough to tie their own
03:29 shoes. This makes Art a slasher icon for a new generation to grow up with, the way Michael
03:35 Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, Leatherface, Ghostface, Pinhead, and all the
03:41 rest of the usual slasher franchise crew did before.
03:44 In addition to the special previews during the "Terrifier 2" return to theaters, Bloody
03:49 Disgusting also reports that on opening night, the first 100 fans of each theater will receive
03:54 an exclusive "Terrifier 3" poster, the same design that was originally leaked that forced
03:59 the hand of the studio to announce the film in the first place. The trailer will be played
04:03 after the run of "Terrifier 2," so if you're hoping to catch the first look at the new
04:08 film, you'll have to sit through all 138 minutes of the film. This is a treat for diehard fans,
