All Dolphins columnist Omar Kelly and publisher Alain Poupart discuss the Dolphins' ability to handle inferior teams in light of their 14-point victory against New England
Transcript
00:00 of a taking care of business performance by the Dolphins against the Patriots on
00:05 this Sunday in a league where there are a lot of upsets, but in a season where
00:09 the Dolphins have shown that if they play an inferior team, eventually their fire
00:13 power is going to make the difference and their margin for error because of that.
00:17 It's pretty good.
00:19 They're a pretty good team.
00:21 Well, duh.
00:23 Signed captain obvious.
00:28 I know. I mean, people, people want to underestimate the Patriots.
00:33 I mean, the Patriots can get you like they can sneak up on you.
00:36 I just asked the Buffalo bills.
00:38 I think, uh, and a true test of a good team is you take care of business, especially
00:43 when you're predicted to win or predicted as a favorite, can you do what you're
00:48 expected to do?
00:49 And a lot of times you see games slip through the cracks sometimes.
00:54 Well, this Dolphins team right now.
00:57 They've won every game that they've been predicted to win.
00:59 Um, and I, even, I think they weren't predicted to win the chargers game.
01:03 So they, they, they pulled one out that they weren't a favorite and yes, they
01:09 can't beat teams on the road, especially teams that have physical trench play like
01:13 the Buffalo bills or Philadelphia Eagles.
01:14 But I think that tune changes when you get guys like Conor Williams and Toronto
01:19 armstead back.
01:20 And certainly the defense looks like it's changing with Jalen Ramsey out there, even
01:25 though he played way more than he was supposed to play.
01:28 Just kept waving coaches off, apparently.
