A Perfect Hero (1991) (Episode 3)

Part 3 of 6 of the wartime drama from 1991. Hugh is in turmoil inside after the tragedy, but has little time to adjust as he is transferred to Dr Meikle's Burns Clinic to be operated on. There he sees a couple of faces from his past - one his former flying instructor Tim Holland, now a patient at the hospital. The other is old flame Marjorie, who is now a physiotherapist at the hospital. Expecting to take up where he left off he tries to rekindle the romance, but finds his advances rejected by Marjorie, who is still hurt by the way he treated her. Indeed, Hugh has to face up to a few home truths when he is later granted permission to go home for a few days and the way people now treat him, while Julian drops a bombshell that threatens to send Hugh over the edge...
