00:00 How many of you guys ran the ball in the second quarter?
00:02 How much did that just open up everything from that point on?
00:05 That was huge.
00:06 I mean, we pretty much just ran the ball,
00:09 and that's pretty much all we did in the second quarter.
00:12 And obviously, it got the scoring going,
00:14 and that was good for us.
00:16 What did you guys see in prep in terms of--
00:18 Arizona's running back had a lot of success in the passing game.
00:21 Bucky has some success in the passing game.
00:23 What were things that you saw defensively
00:24 that you guys could exploit in that way,
00:26 going to Bucky in that way?
00:27 Well, honestly, we didn't necessarily
00:28 make that a point of emphasis.
00:29 Getting the backs out, but that's just kind of our offense.
00:31 We throw checkdowns a lot, and Bucky
00:33 does a good job when he catches the ball in space.
00:35 And we actually, today, finally hit an explosive
00:38 and got a touchdown out of it.
00:39 So that was good to see.
00:41 Makes him that all-purpose threat for you guys,
00:46 though, where they spin themselves
00:47 into pretty rare comparisons across the country.
00:50 Well, he's hard to tackle, one.
00:52 And then he has great hands.
00:54 He's just a really smart football player,
00:55 so he can do a lot of different things.
00:58 But I think it just goes to him being hard to tackle in space.
01:02 I think it's just really tough for defenses.
01:05 Well, you haven't had to have as many long runs from out
01:07 of the backfield as you did last year.
01:08 Is that because you just don't feel like you need to,
01:11 or that's Coach Stein not calling it?
01:12 What's the story there?
01:13 I think it's just a different situation.
01:17 I mean, those kind of happen.
01:20 You don't necessarily force those,
01:21 and we just haven't got those opportunities yet.
01:24 It's a good one.
01:25 You walk around like Bucky came back into the game.
01:27 What were you thinking when you saw him down in the field?
01:29 I was worried.
01:31 What was it feeling in the locker room now,
01:33 responding, rebounding after a tough loss with a win?
01:36 It was good, but I think we're still
01:40 trying to grow because we didn't play like we wanted to coming
01:43 off a Saturday, not how we prepared.
01:45 But that's part of it.
01:47 A win's a win.
01:48 I'm never going to complain about winning the game.
01:50 It's hard to do in college football.
01:54 The coach said that Bucky plays with more heart
01:56 than any other player.
01:58 Do you see that, too?
02:00 And what is your impression of him just as a person?
02:03 Well, I love Bucky.
02:04 He's one of my closest friends.
02:06 He challenges me to be the best.
02:09 When we're on the field together,
02:12 we're capable of so much.
02:13 And that's just what we remind each other of.
02:15 And he does just play with extreme passion,
02:19 extreme effort.
02:20 He never goes down after first contact.
02:22 And that just really says a lot about him,
02:25 who he is as a person, but also as a player.
