00:34 Of course, we are going to be looking at another collector's case, courtesy of the folks over at Spirit Halloween.
00:39 And while normally I would have said I found this one over on Spirit Halloween shelves,
00:43 unfortunately, though, this was the first one that sold out.
00:46 I checked around at actually two Spirit Halloween stores, even asking the people that work behind the counter.
00:51 They all know me by now, by the way.
00:53 None of them were able to tell me when these were going to be restocked.
00:56 So what I ended up having to do instead, I had to go over to eBay.
01:00 You want to talk about scary things. Talk about paying the additional prices that this now case is going for.
01:06 The ones we've already had a look at, though, were both the It Chapter 2 and earlier to that, we also had a look at the Trick or Treat.
01:12 All of them are collector's case containing six items inside.
01:16 And while I have recently just started seeing the Trick or Treat stuff being restocked again, Halloween II, forget about it.
01:23 I'll be happy. No, I think I end up paying online about $45.
01:27 I don't even want to have that leave my mouth, actually admitting how much I paid for this.
01:31 And by all means, I would certainly say paying that price would not be worth it, especially considering you're only getting six items inside.
01:38 Normally, though, these would be on the shelves for $18.99.
01:41 I didn't totally pay $18.99 for this.
01:44 Now I've yet to actually open this up.
01:46 Still kept it inside of its shrink wrap prison, but you can see it does actually have reversible package art.
01:52 It is a Spirit collector's box that includes one lanyard, one patch, two decals and two buttons.
01:58 Down below it also says "Collector's Box Spirit."
02:01 But again, if you don't like the idea that it has all this crap on the front of it, like the labels and stickers,
02:06 again, you can just easily pull it off, rotate it and put it... we're going to do all that.
02:10 First, though, let's just reach off to the side and grab my knife here.

02:15 And while you may not be able to see him, you may be able to feel his presence.
02:19 Charlie the Ghost is actually just hanging out with us right now.

02:23 Oh, right. I'm the only one that actually can hear Charlie the Ghost.
02:26 Some have already speculated the fact that Charlie the Ghost does not exist.
02:29 I mean, I can tell you firsthand we've had ourselves quite long discussions over the topic of Halloween.
02:35 His favorite Halloween, by the way, is Halloween 5.
02:38 I have to kind of question Charlie the Ghost's taste in Halloween films.
02:41 But anyways, we're going to go ahead and take the wrapping that's off of this.
02:44 And if anything has taught us from the earlier times of opening these,
02:48 the more rougher side of the case is actually going to be flipped all the way around
02:52 and we're going to actually have ourselves like a brand new case inside.
02:54 But actually just before that, I'm going to open this up.
02:56 And inside we got ourselves a little cardboard box.
02:59 And once again, I mean, again, for $18.99, some would even say at that asking price,
03:04 it's way too steep for what we're getting inside.
03:06 But I think, you know, again, for the points awarded for the presentation alone,
03:11 I think it's worth $18.99.
03:13 You could easily spend $18.99 on a McDonald's meal and then you'll be done with all the meal altogether.
03:18 I know this was something I did talk about in the earlier review that, you know, again,
03:22 physical things, something tangible you can have on your shelf.
03:25 I don't mind spending $18.99, even if it seems a little higher,
03:29 rather than actually spending that on food and then that food's gone.
03:32 It's nothing but a distant memory.
03:34 I did say, though, that you can take the inserts and we're going to just pull this out carefully, carefully.
03:39 The last thing I certainly would want to do is rip this.
03:41 On the one side, it does have more rougher of the actual tape.
03:45 And on the inside, it actually has more cleaner finish.
03:48 It's again a matter of preference.
03:50 It seems to be the same on all the sides, actually on both sides.
03:53 You got a picture there of Michael Myers.
03:55 That's a really odd image to be using for Michael.
03:57 It's, of course, him bathing nurse Karen.
04:00 Bathing is an understatement.
04:02 Submerging her head in hot water.
04:04 And, of course, there's the image of Dick Warlock's Michael Myers taking a tumble off the front balcony.
04:09 Somehow, though, he's able to line himself up completely with the balcony railing,
04:12 but that's one of those things we have to kind of overlook.
04:14 Advertised, though, once again, is the patch, the button, the decal, lanyard.
04:17 Yeah, I know, I know.
04:18 This has got a little bit of an interesting thing.
04:20 I don't remember actually seeing this on the other two cases.
04:22 I'm just going to grab the other one.
04:24 Yeah, the other one doesn't have this.
04:26 The thing I'm drawing to your attention is the fact it does actually have a little worn away sticker.
04:29 That's part of it, by the way.
04:31 That's not part of the actual -- well, that's not stickered on top.
04:34 So I'm going to flip this around just because I prefer the cleaner look myself.
04:38 I'm going to slide this back into the case.
04:40 Now, if you have a Spirit Halloween in your area, congratulations.
04:44 You're probably, like, one of the happiest guys around, girls around, owls around.
04:47 You get the chance to look at this kind of stuff all -- well, not all year round.
04:51 You get to at least see this during October.
04:53 Why am I struggling to get this all back in there?

05:06 Speaking, though, of -- speaking of tapes itself, here's what the actual tape looks like.
05:10 Of course, you've got a Halloween sticker there on the front.
05:12 Home video.
05:13 And on the back, it actually does look like a VHS tape other than just the fact it's made of cardboard.
05:18 Well, let's go ahead.
05:19 We're just going to open this up and see if it was worth the $45.
05:23 No, it wasn't.
05:24 No, it wasn't.
05:25 But, of course, me being the person I am, I had to, of course, get this.
05:29 So what do we got here?
05:30 We got a patch, a sticker.
05:33 Let's get everything out here first before we actually -- OK.
05:35 So I'm going to fold everything back up, put that right there, presentation purposes.
05:39 First thing we'll have a look at is a patch.
05:42 The patch does have Halloween, too.
05:44 I've never really seen the font look like this, though.
05:46 I mean, it looks kind of like the normal Halloween font, but it looks like it's all been kind of tumbled in a dryer somewhere.
05:52 And then, of course, you've got the black and white image of the skull pumpkin.
05:55 This is not something that you're just going to be sewing on.
05:58 In fact, actually, you're going to be ironing this on.
06:00 And I would -- stating the obvious already, I'm sure, don't be ironing this on your skin.
06:04 You want to just be ironing this on.
06:06 On the back, actually, it says preheat iron, not oven.
06:09 You don't want to put this in the oven.
06:11 Preheat your iron -- thank you -- for five minutes on high setting.
06:15 Preiron your garment where you want to place the patch.
06:18 Place the patch on top of it.
06:19 And then place a lightweight press cloth over the patch.
06:22 Press firmly with the back and forth motion for 40, 45 seconds.
06:26 Turn the piece inside out.
06:28 And then with the back and forth motion of the iron backside on the patch for another 45 seconds.
06:32 So basically you're just ironing this onto a denim jacket or whatever you usually keep your patches.
06:38 Maybe you have a vest.
06:39 If you have a vest, we should talk.
06:41 We can compare our patch vests.
06:44 Did you say patch vest?
06:46 Yeah, I did.
06:47 I'm working on a patch vest.
06:48 And then, of course, we have ourselves some stickers.
06:50 What I always find interesting about the Spirit Halloween stuff is the fact that we get ourselves stickers that I've never really seen before.
06:56 This was also the case as well when we looked at Pennywise, the It, the It Chapter 2,
07:00 and also when we had a look at the Trick or Treat one as well.
07:02 Now, first of all, we have this one where it's Michael Myers.
07:04 Kind of just -- it kind of looks like a glamour shot.
07:06 He's just sort of casually standing in the middle of the hallway of the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital.
07:11 And then we've also got this one as well.
07:13 It's got all sort of Halloween's in the background.
07:15 It kind of actually looks like he's standing in the same room as Sam in Trick or Treat.
07:18 It's all done in yellow, which is kind of strange.
07:20 You would think that they would have used maybe, oh, I don't know, like orange like they did on this sticker, for example.
07:25 But we got two interesting stickers for Mikey Myers.
07:27 I'm going to put that to the side.
07:29 Then we got ourselves a couple of pins, a little couple of buttons.
07:32 It says he's back.
07:33 "Slay all day."
07:36 Who in marketing thought that that was great?
07:38 I see "slay." I think "slay."
07:41 I think, like, Christmas. I don't think necessarily Halloween.
07:44 And then we've got this one.
07:45 "There's no place to hide."
07:48 Okay. I don't know if I would necessarily say those were the greatest of pin options available.
07:53 This one actually kind of looks like he's saying no to drugs.
07:56 Like it's one of those old posters from the '80s.
07:58 "I'm saying no to drugs."
08:00 In this case, I guess it would be "I'm saying no to slaying."
08:03 That's not Michael Myers.
08:05 "Slay all day."
08:07 I'm going to say low points on that one.
08:09 And then the last thing we have inside is the lanyard.
08:12 Now, it's not only just the lanyard.
08:14 Oh, no. It's also going to be a place to store your card.
08:17 If you are part of a club, for example, or you work for a living, and you just, you know, you have to carry around your ID badge with you.
08:23 So you got, first of all, the skull pumpkin feature on the front.
08:27 And, of course, you can just pull this out as well and just swap this out for your ID.
08:31 And then you also have a rubbery kind of little -- I wouldn't say it's a tag.
08:37 What would you describe this as being?
08:39 Sort of like -- it's not even really an ID tag, but it basically is a little tag that goes along with it.
08:44 It's made of very, very rubbery plastic, and it says "Halloween II. The nightmare isn't over."
08:49 And then from there, if you follow your way away from the clip, you'll see that you get treated to "Halloween II. And the nightmare isn't over."
08:57 On the other side, though, at least it's Michael Myers.
09:00 And, of course, it's the bleeding eyes version.
09:02 They always seem to go with the bleeding eyes when it comes to Michael Myers, anything, like, merchandise-wise.
09:06 And you've got all these additional skeleton pumpkins.
09:09 The gray is sort of a weird thing for them to have gone with, just because, again, like, I don't tend to think of gray and orange when I think of Halloween.
09:16 I tend to think of black and orange.
09:17 If they're going to be doing black on the one side, why wouldn't they have also done black on this side?
09:22 By the way, though, the part that you're going to be using is -- well, the part that everyone's going to be seeing is kind of twisted around.
09:28 I guess it would be the Michael Myers, because that's the part that doesn't seem the most tangled up at the bottom.
09:33 So at least when people are looking at you, they're going to be seeing a Michael Myers lanyard.
09:37 It's -- I guess if you wanted to, you could flip this around, but it's going to be just a little bit more tangled in quarters down below.
09:42 All in all, again, like, right away, you would say $18.99, a bit steep.
09:48 You probably would also then say $45.
09:50 I think it was $45 and probably a couple of dollars on top of that, maybe, for shipping.
09:54 Way too ludicrous.
09:55 But, of course, considering that I have already been collecting the other VHS videotapes from Trick or Treat Studios -- I may not get all of them.

10:02 I mean, of course, there's still Corpse Bride.
10:03 I think there's also Harry Potter.
10:04 I won't even be going near Harry Potter's VHS tape with a six-meter pole.
10:09 I mean, that has no interest for me at all.
10:11 That doesn't say Halloween.
10:12 But, of course, the one that was the most interesting to me, one that I kind of wish I was able to see in the Spirit Halloween stores, was the one from Halloween II.
10:21 And having already, again, looked at the Trick or Treat one -- where's the Trick or Treat one?
10:24 Here's the Trick or Treat one.
10:25 Put that right in the middle there.
10:27 Yeah, you know, I like these for maybe more than -- I have more interest in these, I would say, than maybe the next guy.
10:32 Oh, hey, speaking of Charlie the Ghost, he's right here.
10:35 I don't know if everyone is going to be all that interested in the idea of getting old VHS clamshell cases.
10:40 I mean, right away, if these were just sold in boxes, my interest in these would be a little less.
10:45 But the fact that they're actually in old vintage VHS clamshell cases, you also have yourself a cardboard tape.
10:51 That already is interesting enough.
10:53 I sort of feel like all the things that are packed inside are all sort of more -- I don't want to say freebies, because, of course, you're all going to be paying for all of them.
11:00 But I guess the stickers, you know, again, you get stickers.
11:02 You get yourself a couple of patches.
11:04 You get yourself a lanyard.
11:05 Where's the stickers?
11:06 Where's the lanyard?
11:07 And, of course, you got yourself some sort of questionable pins.
11:10 I think for $18.99, I think it's still worth the price.
11:13 Maybe, again, not as much the price of paying $40 something -- $40, $50, I think it was all said and done over on eBay.
11:21 But, unfortunately, in order to get the case for myself, I must have waited way too long, and the stores had sold out, likely, on this one right away.
11:29 The trick-or-treat has come back.
11:31 I haven't even seen "It Chapter 2" at all in the stores.
11:33 I had to order that one online.
11:35 But, yeah, if you get the chance, you see these locally.
11:38 Don't pay the prices that I paid, unless you're just really interested, and you're just stupid with money like I am.
11:44 But if you are interested, definitely check your local Spirit Halloween stores.
11:47 And, hey, you never know.
11:48 They might still have stock of these available.
