00:00 >> You've been here for a while, what are your memories of the Wosley series and
00:03 just how wild some of these games have been?
00:05 >> It's been a very interesting series, I mean, kind of back and forth.
00:09 They've always had a really good team, it's always real competitive,
00:12 it's a real fun game, I would say.
00:13 >> Why do you think they're so good?
00:16 Because Steven Jones was talking about how offensively, they're maybe not the
00:20 biggest, or defensively, they're not maybe the biggest guys,
00:22 maybe they're the highest rated recruits, but they're just always good.
00:24 >> Yeah.
00:25 >> From their offensive perspective, just why are they so good every year?
00:29 >> Me personally, I feel like they really have a chip on their shoulder.
00:32 I feel like they think people count them out, you know what I'm saying?
00:35 And they get a lot of good players, and we definitely account for them.
00:38 But I feel like they played a real chip on their shoulder, I mean,
00:41 being in Washington, a lot of people think of Washington, but
00:44 gotta also think about Wazoo, so.
00:47 >> When you talk about a chip on your shoulder,
00:48 you guys feel like you're maybe coming into this matchup with a little bit of
00:51 a chip on your shoulder?
00:52 I know Dan's talked a lot about just kind of there being a lot of energy at
00:55 practice this week.
00:56 From a player's perspective, just tell me what it's like.
00:59 >> We definitely have a chip on our shoulder.
01:00 We came off a tough loss this past week, so
01:03 we definitely don't wanna repeat that.
01:05 And we just taking every day, every rep serious,
01:07 because that was a tough loss that we took last week.
01:09 And it was devastating for the program, so we just don't want that taste again.
01:13 >> [INAUDIBLE]
01:24 >> How you've gone about it week to week,
01:25 where first couple weeks of the season, your role was a little bit different.
01:28 But obviously sticking with it, it worked pretty nicely,
01:32 where you've had eight and seven tackles the past couple weeks.
01:35 >> Mm-hm. >> Back to where you kind of were.
01:36 >> Mm-hm. >> How you've gone about it?
01:38 >> I kind of just took it like a real professional.
01:40 Honestly, just making the reps count, not really counting the reps,
01:44 just always being ready for your opportunity.
01:46 Just each week, just prepping as if I'm the starter,
01:49 even though I wasn't the starter at the point in time.
01:50 Just taking everything super serious, being ready and
01:53 locked in for all the checks, adjustments, and everything like that.
01:55 And just leading my guys best way I can,
01:57 even though I was with the twos at a point in time.
01:59 And then with those minimal reps, minimal, or whatever you wanna say it,
02:03 just taking advantage of every opportunity I had, even special teams included.
