00:02 Speaking of small lines though, tonight the Dallas Cowboys are
00:07 favored in Los Angeles against the Chargers.
00:10 The total is 51.
00:12 And historically speaking, Warren,
00:15 I just never backed the Chargers as a favorite.
00:18 But as a dog, sometimes I'm interested.
00:20 So I'm just kind of wondering what your thoughts are on this
00:22 game, high total as well.
00:23 Are we gonna get a good game tonight, you think?
00:25 >> I think we will get a good game.
00:28 If for nothing else to see what Brandon Staley and
00:31 Mike McCarthy decide to do from a tactical perspective,
00:35 from a fourth down perspective, from an aggressiveness perspective.
00:39 I've been highly critical about the Dallas Cowboys play calling inside of
00:42 the red zone and their decision making down there particularly.
00:47 I've been very critical of the fact that they just don't run Dak Prescott at all.
00:50 They've got a mobile quarterback and in fact,
00:52 they're gonna be looking across the sideline at one in Justin Herbert,
00:56 who does run the football when he gets down into the red zone when he needs to.
01:00 And could actually be a threat to score a red zone touchdown,
01:03 in my opinion, in this game.
01:06 Whereas Dak Prescott, look, they just, for whatever reason,
01:10 this is minus EV play calling.
01:13 And what's odd is Mike McCarthy took over the play calling,
01:16 wanted this on his shoulders.
01:18 And his predecessor that he got rid of is sitting across the sidelines as well,
01:23 in Kellen Moore.
01:24 And we'll get to go up against Mike McCarthy's defense.
01:27 McCarthy's defense is a little bit banged up for this one.
01:31 So it's very hard to predict exactly what we're going to get.
01:35 And that's the other thing we've been seeing around the league is a lot of these
01:38 teams have been banged up a little bit.
01:39 So it's hard to really get a gauge as to how good some of the backups are going
01:43 to play. But an interesting statistic in this one,
01:46 as it relates to the Dallas Cowboys.
01:49 The Cowboys passing attack has massive splits versus too high.
01:53 Against non too high defense, they rank 12 in EPA per attempt.
01:56 But against too high, they drop all the way to 10th worst in the NFL.
02:00 So nearly from 10th best to 10th worst.
02:02 And the Charters play the fifth highest rate of too high of any team in the NFL.
02:07 So they're going to play the style of defense that Dak Prescott has struggled
02:11 a little bit against.
02:13 The way that Dak Prescott has been playing as well has been a lot of these
02:18 short underneath passes, which really isn't the way that you utilize a guy
02:22 like a Brandon Cooks who you brought in this offseason.
02:26 He's a deeper threat.
02:27 He's excellent down the field.
02:29 He's great at pinpointing the football.
02:31 And they just haven't been taking those shots down the field.
02:34 Their offensive line is actually healthy now.
02:36 It was healthy last week against the 49ers, but
02:39 Dak was under a lot more pressure.
02:40 It'll be interesting to see with a healthy offensive line,
02:43 do they decide to augment, rather change their strategy offensively and
02:49 target down the field a little bit further.
02:51 Something that they have not been doing earlier this season and
02:54 something that this Charters defense has been a little bit susceptible to.
