00:00 maybe I'm being way more critical than the way that I should be.
00:04 But when I saw the film, I was like, "Disaster.
00:09 This cannot happen."
00:12 - Yeah. - Again...
00:13 Here's the thing, though. The point I'm gonna make for Liam,
00:15 if we're gonna be fair and look for reasons, justifications/excuses
00:22 for his, let's just say, less than perfect performance
00:26 since he joined the Dolphins, as we have done for other players on this roster,
00:31 the dude's bounced around from one spot to another spot to another spot to another spot
00:35 to another spot on the offensive line.
00:36 'Cause he's not good at any of the spots.
00:40 Maybe the coaches don't believe in him. Maybe the scheme's not good enough.
00:43 Maybe he doesn't have good enough wide receivers. Maybe...
00:48 Oh, wow! You're really going there?
00:50 You finally caught on to what I was doing.
00:54 Your point is fair, but is it not fair to give him maybe,
00:59 I don't want to say the benefit of the doubt, but the fact that, yeah,
01:01 he's been moved around a little?
01:03 The benefits of the doubt are we really gonna give him, though?
01:05 I am fine. I've come to terms with the fact that he'll probably be out there against Carolina.
01:13 I agree with you. It's the smart thing to do to get Conor Wright against the Philadelphia Eagles,
01:20 which is the best interior defensive line that you'll face in the NFL.
01:27 Like, you need your best against your best.
01:30 And a 70% Conor Williams in a contract year is going to lose money,
01:40 as opposed to a 90% Conor Williams helping you.
01:45 That film against the Philadelphia Eagles, that's either gonna make him money or lose him money.
01:50 So if you think about this from a business approach and understand,
01:55 for those who have ever followed me, I let you know, on an NFL team, there are 53 franchises.
02:04 And if franchise Conor Williams was smart, they'd say,
02:09 "Sit and then be your best against the Philadelphia Eagles,
02:15 or play this one and then sit the Eagles game."
02:20 But as a team player, I'm thinking Conor will say,
02:23 "I want us to be at our best for the Eagles,
02:27 because everybody is going to use that as a litmus test for this team."
02:31 And say, "Oh, they're good, but they can't win the big one
02:34 because they can't beat the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles."
02:39 And who else is the big ones? Because, you know, I don't know this guy.
02:41 - Chiefs. - The Kansas City Chiefs.
02:43 And I don't know if we put the Dallas Cowboys in that category anymore.
02:49 or the Baltimore Ravens,
02:51 'cause I think the Ravens will be up there.
