00:00 Hello, it's been a cloudy and damp night for most of us with further rain likely as we
00:04 head through the rest of Friday. We've got a yellow weather warning in place for that
00:09 rain likely to see those totals building up particularly across parts of Wales with some
00:13 localised flooding possible giving way to some travel disruption through the morning
00:17 rush hour. We could also see a risk of thunder particularly across that south coast of the
00:21 UK as we head through Friday afternoon. Back to the here and now though, that rain that
00:27 we can see across much of the southern and central parts of the UK will slowly sink its
00:32 way south and eastwards as we head through the day on Friday but leaving a very damp
00:36 afternoon for most places. Some strong winds as well particularly along the south coast
00:40 we could see some isolated gusts up to 50 or 60 miles per hour. Further north a bit
00:45 of a drier day, plenty of sunny spells around however showers pushing in from the north
00:49 west as we head through into Friday afternoon and some strong winds too particularly for
00:53 north east Scotland. A fresher feel to the day on Friday as well for parts of Scotland,
00:58 temperatures not reaching much above 12 or 13 degrees however further south temperatures
01:03 perhaps 20 or 21 degrees although not feeling too warm with those strong winds that we're
01:07 likely to see. As we head through Friday afternoon that band of rain across the south east of
01:13 England slowly pushes its way towards the south east and clears much of England as we
01:17 head into the early hours of Saturday morning. Plenty of clear skies around then to start
01:22 on Saturday but further showers pushing in from the north west as we head into the start
01:26 of the weekend. Again these could turn wintry particularly across the high ground of Scotland.
01:31 A chilly night for most as we head through Friday night and into Saturday morning more
01:35 widely turning into the low single figures for most places perhaps a touch of frost possible
01:40 across parts of Scotland as well. So Saturday itself starting a much drier and brighter
01:45 day compared to what we've seen recently. Plenty of sunshine around to start through
01:49 the morning but definitely a fresher feel to the day. Those showers continue to push
01:53 in from the north west as we head through into Saturday afternoon perhaps turning a
01:56 bit more widespread as well through the afternoon. With that north westerly wind definitely feeling
02:01 a much cooler day compared to what we've seen recently. Highs of not much more than 14 or
02:05 15 degrees so definitely a colder feel compared to recently. That colder feel continues as
02:11 we head through into Sunday as well but you can find out more about that forecast on our
02:14 YouTube channel and don't forget to follow us on social media. Bye bye.
