00:00 I would like to ask the Prime Minister to state the results of the foreign visit, including the results of the investment, cooperation between the countries and the level of assurance of foreign investment towards Malaysia.
00:14 Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I am honored to be here. Thank you, Mr. Ping. Since I took office, I have attended several bilateral meetings, including ASEAN, several official meetings of ASEAN and the PBB, 17 foreign visits to ASEAN, three ASEAN countries, China, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia.
00:40 To China, March 2023, investment potential of Rp 170 billion and tomorrow, God willing, JILI will accompany me to Tanjung Malim to implement and add a large-scale project, the Automotive Hightech Valley.
01:06 I am personally concerned that the announcement is not necessarily implemented in this case.
01:18 Likewise, when Elon Musk gave assurance, the officials were successful, expected to be ready this month.
01:26 In New York, investment potential of Rp 47 billion, including addition of Boeing, because as we know, Boeing and Airbus established that the components for the wings of the aircraft are mostly in Malaysia, in the ninth country.
01:50 And this has been announced to be added, including several other investments, including Google, Medtronic, Elton, Industry, etc.
02:04 The last one is UAE, I will summarize. This is a very good development because in that visit, we got a commitment from His Majesty Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, and in that meeting, he has agreed to invest with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, PGSC, Mazda, and others.
02:32 The total is Rp 46 billion, and the capacity is 10 gigawatts, Rp 37.8 billion, and Rp 21 billion in the logistics sector, and Rp 709 million in the aero-engineering sector.
03:00 Of course, this is due to the statement of the ministers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs.
03:14 And I would like to thank our officials and ministers for their good support.
03:24 But, Your Majesty, you must also understand that for the implementation, there are sometimes concerns.
03:36 When it is approved, what is called ease of doing business, there are still problems. So I have set it up so that we can make a drastic change, not just one stop center in MITI, but also the power of investment and trade implementation under the MITI minister with the cooperation of JPM, the Ministerial Office.
04:04 And this will ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner. Thank you.
04:14 [END]
