00:00 It is at the south of the Penang Island.
00:15 Probably the area near Pematetang Daman Laut will be the area that we are starting, which
00:21 is the cornerstone of the Rekrem Island.
00:25 We will be starting at one corner.
00:33 The south island will be developed as an international business and leisure hub, other than the industry
00:41 that I talked about.
00:43 So we believe that although we have scaled down from three to one island, we think that
00:53 it has the potential to yield an impressive 1.1 trillion ringgit in terms of GDP impact.
01:04 And also we will be able to attract investment to the tune of 74 billion ringgit over the
01:15 next 30 years.
01:16 So it is a high impact project to bring Penang into the next 30 years.
01:23 It is designed as an eco-sustainable island in that over 30% of the Rekrem land will be
01:37 designated as public spaces, green area, waterfront promenade, canal, jogging track, bicycle trail,
01:49 and also public transport.
01:51 So it is going to be something very different.
01:56 And the fact that it is right under the flight path to the Bayang Lepas Airport, we will
02:03 not be putting up high-rises, and 700 acres will be designated as the industrial park.
02:12 So there will be more low-building compared to high-rises, because it is right under the
02:18 flight path.
