00:00 Good morning everybody, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Monday, October the 2nd. I
00:05 hope you've had a lovely weekend, certainly feels a bit more autumnal today out there.
00:11 Just bringing you our headlines this morning, the police have sent out a piece this morning which
00:19 will be going online shortly about a Doncaster man who's been jailed for 12 years after a
00:25 targeted attack on a woman that ended up in rape. Daniel Crooks is 56, we've got his picture and
00:33 full story about what happened. That will be going online in the next half an hour and will
00:37 obviously appear on the Facebook page as well. We then sent out a story yesterday which relates to
00:47 medical negligence at Doncaster NHS Trust. Apparently it's cost the Trust over ÂŁ4 million
00:55 in the last year. We did go to the Trust for a response so we've got the facts and figures there
01:02 and their reply to that claim on the website and the Facebook as well. And then another piece that
01:11 we put out yesterday is a man who appeared in court, he's due to reappear after a burglary at
01:20 an elderly woman's home. He distracted her, stole her handbag but thankfully was caught and will be
01:29 brought to justice hopefully later on this month. So for those stories and for anything else which
01:37 is happening in the city today visit the website www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and obviously
01:45 bringing more on our Facebook page as the day goes on too. Hope you have a great Monday.
