00:00 >> Dylan, 50 points for the offense today, 30 point win.
00:02 Just how do you feel about the way the offense played overall today?
00:05 >> I just I love how it all started, with the defense setting the tone and
00:09 the pick six, getting everyone going and then, man, you just couldn't write it up
00:14 better with putting the points on the board and then of course,
00:18 night game in the palace so.
00:20 >> Do things feel maybe particularly smooth just in the passing game?
00:23 Seems like you were finding a bunch of different receivers,
00:25 guys were making plays, maybe how did it feel?
00:27 >> I think it's something we go back to with rhythm and creating completions and
00:33 making competitive plays and moving the chains.
00:34 I feel like as we get into that rhythm, we're able to obviously play a bunch of
00:39 different guys and then kind of just spread the ball around so.
00:43 >> Deep ball was home tonight.
00:44 That's not something that's I would say defense has given up much over the past
00:48 five, what would you see what was able to go into that?
00:50 >> I mean, schematically, they cause a lot of problems and
00:54 they're very great at what they do.
00:56 And I think we just, in a game like this, you gotta make competitive plays and
01:02 you gotta take your shots when you have those opportunities.
01:05 So I'm glad we did, I'm glad we took advantage of those shots and
01:11 then make plays down the red zone, so.
01:14 >> Dealing with the deep balls, were there things you worked on from last season to
01:18 this one in terms of mechanics or is it really all just part of the confidence and
01:22 all the things working for you guys?
01:23 >> Confidence in the scheme,
01:24 year two with a bunch of the guys that I've played with.
01:27 And then it's a pitch and catch, it's a mixture,
01:32 it's a dance between two people and not a one man show.
01:35 So I think being able to build that continuity is huge for our basket.
01:42 >> Feeling you're making a run to the end zone and
01:44 I believe the word was trucked.
01:46 Whenever you got in there, you kind of got low,
01:48 a little bit of a linebacker back to the end zone.
01:50 Just kind of talk about the feeling of maybe getting over on one of the guys that
01:53 usually gets you.
01:53 >> Yeah, my dad's a basketball coach and growing up,
01:58 we always loved calling for an and one and I just I believe that one was an and one.
02:03 And just finding a way to get in the end zone, it's a good deal, so.
02:08 >> You seem to be playing with a lot of swagger, confidence.
02:11 Do you feel like that's growing each week?
02:13 I mean, even in your answers in the media sessions, you seem more confident.
02:17 >> Yeah, as we all know, when things are good and going good,
02:23 it's easy to be good and we've seen the road of both sides,
02:28 at least I have in my journey.
02:30 And I think you gotta take this journey as long as you can go and
02:36 continue to have fun with it.
02:38 And I think towards the end of year last year,
02:40 just think it was a big thing in my head is continue to have fun with this game.
02:46 Although it was a rocky road and kind of going back to when you're that little kid
02:50 and just enjoying every second of it.
02:52 I think I had lost it for a little bit, but when I flipped that switch and
02:58 just started having fun and just allowed me to play free, have fun, play fast.
03:03 And then play with a free mind.
03:04 I think that's something that also kind of goes along with this whole journey.
03:08 So that's something I'll continue to do.
03:12 Kind of put that at the forefront of my offseason going into this year.
03:16 So having fun is a big part of doing it.
03:19 >> When did that flip switch of kind of playing free,
03:23 was it sort of something after last season?
03:26 Or was it something that mentality changed going into this season?
03:30 >> I think it was a mixture.
03:30 Talk about a roller coaster, it was.
03:35 But you just learned a lot about yourself, your team, the people around you.
03:40 And I think naturally, I couldn't give you exact date, but
03:44 there's a time where it flipped.
03:46 And I just started playing free and going into offseason as something that,
03:50 pushing one another because of the big offseason we needed to have.
03:56 But then also having fun with it, embracing the third and
04:00 shorts, embracing that fourth and short and wanting to go get it.
04:03 Embracing situations that people may not wanna be in.
04:07 And it's inevitable to be in those certain positions.
04:10 So embracing it, have fun with it and make it something that you want to pride
