Transcript
00:00 Good morning, it's Steph Bateman at the Doncaster Free Press on Monday, September the 25th,
00:04 just bringing you the news headlines this morning. We have a story with regards to a
00:10 Doncaster City Centre pub which is apparently going to shut its doors. We have information
00:17 that it's been put up for sale along with another 10 pubs. Unfortunately, we've contacted
00:25 the owners, they've yet to get back to us, so you can read all about that on the website
00:30 today. Then we had a story that we put out actually beginning of the weekend which has
00:35 done well over Saturday and Sunday and continues to do so today, which is two dogs have been
00:42 seized, a couple of the XL bully type dogs following incidents in Doncaster and Sheffield
00:51 actually, so more information on that also. Then we'll have a story coming out today,
00:58 residents are very, very angry and quite scared. There was an incident involving a four vehicle
01:07 collision on a Doncaster street just metres away from a local school. Children had just
01:16 actually gone into the school, one could have been hit if it was minutes earlier. They're
01:20 calling for some traffic calming measures or something to happen down there because
01:24 it's one of many incidents that have happened. So look out for that story, we'll bring that
01:29 to you at some point today. For anything else that's happening in Doncaster, just visit
01:34 the website, www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and of course keep looking out on Facebook
01:42 for breaking news. Have a lovely Monday.
