00:05 Let's start off with FanDuel and positive numbers piling in from New York.
00:10 And if I'm not mistaken, Jim, even a record setting
00:13 quarter here for the actually first week of the NFL season.
00:18 >> Yeah, so FanDuel in New York did quite well
00:24 after the first week of the NFL betting season.
00:28 I guess you could probably hypothesize that New York
00:33 bettors were eager for something other than the Yankees or the Mets to come along.
00:39 Cuz they certainly did their fair share of
00:44 NFL wagering during that first week.
00:47 So FanDuel generated $32.3 million
00:53 in online revenue between September 4th and September 10th.
00:59 That is a record high week of revenue in the state of New York
01:05 since legal sports betting began there.
01:09 No other operator has ever eclipsed that $30 million in revenue for a single week.
01:15 So certainly a positive week one kickoff for
01:22 FanDuel all in all online operators combined for
01:28 about $56.5 million during the week.
01:33 The only other time that has the collective
01:39 group of online operators exceeded the $50 million
01:45 mark combined was back in January.
01:50 Overall handle figures for FanDuel just shy of 200 million for
01:55 the week came in at 195.5 million.
01:59 Like I said between that September 4th and September 10th.
02:05 That was the second highest single week for any operator in New York.
02:11 The first or the overall highest was way back when,
02:16 January of 2022 right after the market had opened and
02:23 Caesars handled about $230 million that week.
02:28 But if you recall, they were dishing out thousands and thousands of dollars in
02:34 promo bets to drive that initial handle after the market had launched there.
02:41 So like I said, FanDuel 195.5 million for the first week of the NFL season.
02:49 Now of course, that includes all sports, right?
02:52 But obviously, the NFL is most likely the largest driver of that.
03:00 DraftKings had around 140 million on its own.
03:05 And all in that week, $416 million between September 4th and
03:12 September 10th for online wagering in New York,
03:17 which was a positive compared to the same week last year up 25, 26%.
