00:02 - Hello and welcome to Latest TV News.
00:19 My name is Jacob Pannins.
00:20 I'm a reporter for Sussex World.
00:22 And I'm gonna be speaking with sports reporter Sam Morton
00:25 about Brighton's impressive victory over Manchester United,
00:28 as well as their upcoming Europa League fixture.
00:31 But first, who are your top stories from across the county?
00:34 - Turn the engine off.
00:36 Open the window, open the door.
00:38 Turn it off.
00:40 Take your seatbelt off.
00:41 (upbeat music)
00:47 (dramatic music)
00:50 - A man has been jailed for three years
01:09 for attacking a woman who was walking her dog
01:11 in Eastbourne in broad daylight, police have said.
01:14 Police said Lewis Wood, 29, grabbed the woman from behind
01:18 before assaulting her and pulling her to the floor
01:20 at around 2.25 p.m. on Saturday, February 25th
01:24 in Hampden Park.
01:26 A Sussex Police spokesperson added that CCTV footage
01:29 showed Wood, of no fixed address, creeped through bushes
01:33 before running back to his car after the attack
01:35 just over a minute later.
01:37 He appeared before Lewis Crown Court on August 18th
01:40 and was sentenced to three years in prison
01:42 with an extended two years on licence
01:45 after pleading guilty to intent to commit a sexual offence
01:48 and non-fatal strangulation at an earlier hearing,
01:51 police said.
01:52 The judge also imposed a sexual harm prevention order
01:55 preventing Wood from committing further sexual offences,
01:58 according to officers.
02:00 Police said the court heard that just five minutes
02:02 before the attack, Wood had been calling
02:04 and texting a sex worker asking for sex
02:06 in exchange for money.
02:08 Police said Wood was arrested less than 20 minutes
02:10 after officers received a call from a witness
02:13 who came to the woman's aid.
02:15 Wood's car was spotted by officers half a mile
02:17 from the scene and both a mobile phone and cable ties
02:20 were found inside, Sussex Police added.
02:22 A man charged with causing death by dangerous driving
02:26 following a collision near Bexhill
02:28 in which a Hastings boy died has pleaded guilty
02:31 to the charge, police have confirmed.
02:33 Russell Lebeau, 34, of the Devonshire area of Eastbourne
02:37 appeared at Lewis Crown Court on Thursday, September 14th
02:40 and will be sentenced on November 2nd, police confirmed.
02:44 He had originally pleaded not guilty to the charge
02:47 at an earlier hearing in May.
02:49 Harry Dennis, 11, who attended the Hastings Academy
02:52 died as a result of the injuries he suffered
02:54 in the collision in Hoo last December.
02:57 Officers were called to the scene on the B2095
03:00 at around 3.05pm on December 15th,
03:03 following a collision between a car and a flatbed van.
03:07 The ambulance service attended
03:08 and Harry was airlifted to hospital
03:09 with life-threatening injuries.
03:11 He died as a result of his injuries on December 17th,
03:14 police said.
03:15 A school in Eastbourne which opened back in 2021
03:18 has received an overall effectiveness rating
03:21 of requires improvement
03:22 following its first Ofsted inspection.
03:25 The inspection of the Turing School in Larkspur Drive
03:28 was published on September 8th
03:30 with the Swale Academies Trust School
03:32 also receiving a requires improvement rating
03:34 for the quality of education.
03:37 The school which opened
03:38 in the former site of Causeway School
03:40 did receive a good rating for behaviour and attitudes,
03:42 personal development and leadership and management.
03:46 In the report it says some students' reading skills
03:48 are not yet fully developed
03:49 but the school has introduced a robust programme
03:52 to change this.
03:53 Inspectors also said that the uptake
03:55 of modern foreign languages is not high enough
03:58 and the number of pupils taking the full e-back
04:00 is below government aspirations,
04:02 although leaders are putting in the effort
04:04 to highlight the benefits and to change this.
04:07 Attendance was also identified
04:08 as a significant issue in the report
04:11 but the school was praised for improving
04:12 and adopting recommendations
04:14 from the National Attendance Strategy Team.
04:16 A spokesperson from the school
04:18 said it's put in place rigorous strategies
04:20 to address areas that need improving.
04:22 A woman's body that was discovered on a beach in Seaford
04:26 has been confirmed to be a person
04:28 who fell into the water while travelling on a ferry.
04:31 Hampshire and Isle of Wight police
04:33 said they were contacted on July 23rd
04:36 following concerns for the welfare of Ebla Yusuf.
04:39 The 48-year-old was believed to have fallen into water
04:42 while travelling on a ferry from Portsmouth
04:44 to the Channel Islands on July 22nd.
04:47 On July 29th, a body was located by Sussex police
04:50 at around 9.30pm and it was identified as Ebla Yusuf.
04:54 Her family have been notified.
04:56 A family visiting a zoo in East Sussex
04:59 was lucky enough to see a once in a lifetime birth,
05:02 according to the park.
05:04 When Erica Huggins and her family arrived
05:06 for their first visit to Drusilla's Park by Alfriston,
05:09 they hoped to be lucky enough
05:10 to catch a glimpse of the sloths.
05:12 But what happened far exceeded their expectations
05:15 as they witnessed a birth.
05:17 On August 23rd, Mrs. Huggins, her husband,
05:20 and their two children
05:21 were exploring the zoo's walkthrough enclosure
05:24 when the ex-veterinary nurse noticed a glistening
05:27 while admiring the sloths
05:29 and was quick to pull out her camera
05:30 to capture the amazing moment.
05:33 Sloths' pregnancies are difficult to predict
05:35 due to their anatomy
05:36 and their abdomen swelling to a minimum,
05:38 so keepers at Drusilla's have not themselves
05:40 witnessed a sloth being born before.
05:43 The new arrival is especially precious to the team
05:46 as they suddenly lost their infant sloth, Athena,
05:48 at just six months old last year.
05:50 Now let's hear from sports reporter Sam Morton
05:54 as he tells us a bit more about Brighton's
05:56 emphatic 3-1 win at Old Trafford over the weekend.
06:00 (upbeat music)
06:02 - I've got sports reporter Sam Morton with me here
06:08 and we're gonna be talking a bit more
06:09 about Brighton's amazing win at Old Trafford
06:11 over the weekend.
06:12 So obviously you were there, Sam.
06:13 What'd you make of Brighton's performance?
06:14 - It was absolutely incredible, really.
06:16 Just Brighton continuing where they left off
06:18 against Newcastle.
06:20 And it was with several changes as well.
06:22 Six changes were made by De Servi
06:24 and it was a big surprise
06:25 when we saw the team lineup come out.
06:26 We knew that there was maybe some fatigue
06:29 from players that had been quite far distances,
06:32 obviously, during this national break.
06:34 So some of the changes were expected,
06:36 but the absence of Solly March was a surprise.
06:38 It turned out he had a bit of a knock.
06:40 He wasn't in the squad at all.
06:41 So it gave opportunities for a number of different players
06:44 really to really impress
06:45 and they couldn't have really done
06:47 a much better job, really.
06:48 I think Man United started the game on top
06:51 and it looked like they might take the lead
06:52 in those first 15 minutes.
06:55 But what Brighton are so good at is reacting
06:57 to how the other team is playing
06:59 and they really did completely change
07:01 the way they were playing
07:02 to kind of counter Man United's fast start.
07:05 And they completely played through
07:07 with some incredible passing
07:08 and took the lead through Danny Welbeck
07:10 against his old club again.
07:11 He can't stop scoring against Man United.
07:13 And it was kind of exactly what they needed
07:15 and it kind of put Man United on the back foot
07:18 and Brighton really never looked back from there.
07:21 - And there's been a lot of criticism
07:22 of Manchester United over how they played,
07:24 but how good were Brighton?
07:26 - Amazing, really.
07:28 Just the way they play
07:30 and with the players they've got in the team,
07:32 it's incredible, really.
07:33 I think there was obviously a lot of talk
07:35 about the difference between the transfer value
07:37 of the team, of Brighton team compared to Man United.
07:39 I think Brighton's team was worth less than 17 million
07:43 and Man United, I think two players,
07:45 added to about 120 million.
07:47 So it's incredible, really,
07:49 what the service is doing with Brighton.
07:51 It doesn't seem to matter who's in the team.
07:53 He can play in exactly the same way
07:55 and the teams just can't handle it.
07:57 And to have a bench as strong as they did
07:59 is something else as well.
08:00 Ante Fati, Evan Ferguson, Carlos Bolivar, Billy Gilmore.
08:04 It's just incredible, really.
08:06 And that's not even to mention
08:07 a Stephen Anderson-Lee match as well.
08:09 So yeah, an incredible performance.
08:11 And you say, obviously, Man United are not the best
08:14 at the moment.
08:15 They really are struggling on and off the pitch.
08:16 Everything that can go wrong is going wrong
08:18 for really at Man United at the moment.
08:20 And it's difficult to see how they're gonna improve.
08:24 So many injuries as well.
08:25 So many players unavailable.
08:27 It's a bit of a rocky time for them.
08:29 But Brighton took full advantage
08:30 and they've got such superiority over United, really,
08:34 in recent years.
08:35 I think last season they beat them
08:36 home and away in the league.
08:38 Obviously, they lost in the FA Cup semi-final
08:40 and quarter-final on penalties.
08:42 But it's just an incredible way
08:47 they've built the team over the last few years.
08:49 And Man United, obviously, are struggling
08:51 and they've really continued to make life hard for them
08:56 every time they play.
08:56 And Man United know if they're gonna play Brighton,
08:58 they're gonna be in for a really tough game.
09:00 - Yeah, and I think that's something we've seen
09:02 from Brighton every game this season,
09:03 bar the West Ham game.
09:04 And even that one, if Arreola didn't have
09:06 the match of his life,
09:07 then maybe Brighton would have won
09:08 and then it would have been 100% win record
09:10 in the Premier League.
09:10 And I've seen some Brighton fans on social media
09:12 joking that their title contenders,
09:14 obviously, that's maybe a bit far-fetched,
09:16 but how far do you see Brighton going
09:17 if they keep this squad and keep this manager until May?
09:20 - The sky's the limit, really.
09:21 I think we were talking on Saturday
09:23 that they even could potentially be on a title race
09:25 this season, which is crazy to say.
09:28 I did actually ask De Serbi,
09:29 are they in a top four race?
09:31 And he said, it's far too early to say that
09:33 after just five games, which you kind of expect.
09:35 You don't want him to set too high targets,
09:37 but he is someone who does like to set targets
09:39 and he always does reference the target,
09:41 without actually revealing what it is.
09:43 But he, I'm sure, will have the highest aspirations possible
09:47 and why not, really?
09:50 When you see the way they're playing,
09:52 apart from Man City,
09:53 I think you can't name any other team in the country
09:56 that can play the way they do,
09:58 can dominate the ball the way they do.
09:59 It's incredible, really.
10:00 It doesn't matter who's on the pitch,
10:01 everyone knows exactly their roles.
10:03 And we've heard it so many times
10:05 about players talking so highly about De Serbi.
10:07 And even James Milner, after the Newcastle game,
10:11 he's played with some of the biggest managers in the world
10:14 over a really long career.
10:15 And even he was gushing, really, about De Serbi
10:18 and the impact that he's had.
10:19 And he's learning new things all the time.
10:21 So I think to have a manager of that class
10:23 and that ability is incredible, Bryton.
10:25 You just really hope they can keep hold of him
10:28 for as long as possible.
10:29 - Definitely.
10:30 That's everything from part one.
10:32 Make sure you tune into part two,
10:33 as we'll be talking a bit more about Bryton's
10:35 upcoming fixture against AEK Athens in the Europa League,
10:38 as well as their Premier League game at home
10:41 against Bournemouth.
10:42 That is everything from part one.
10:47 Make sure you tune into part two,
10:49 as we'll be speaking a bit more
10:50 about Bryton's first ever European game.
10:53 Welcome back to part two of the latest TV news.
11:06 I've got Sam Morton still with me here,
11:08 and we're going to be talking about AEK Athens.
11:10 So this is happening on Thursday.
11:12 This is going to be Bryton's first ever European game.
11:14 How exciting is it?
11:15 - Massively exciting.
11:16 I think it's one of the biggest games in the club's history.
11:20 And it's an incredible occasion
11:21 that the fans will be reveling in really,
11:24 just so much excitement.
11:26 And they're going into the game in such good form as well,
11:28 that I think everything is so positive.
11:30 And you just really hope they kick off
11:34 their first European campaign with a win.
11:36 - Yeah, and it's a bit surreal really.
11:37 I mean, both of us have lived in Sussex for a few years now,
11:39 you your whole life.
11:40 We've seen Bryton in the championship,
11:42 and now we've seen them fight in relegation
11:44 in the Premier League just a couple of years ago.
11:45 And now they're, like you said, in the first half,
11:48 they could potentially be title contenders.
11:50 And now they're playing a European competition
11:51 where I would say they're probably in the top five teams
11:54 in the Europa League at the moment.
11:55 - Yeah, it's incredible really.
11:56 I think when you look at the players they have
11:59 at their disposal,
12:00 they really could go anywhere they want really
12:03 in the competition, you feel.
12:04 There's so much kind of talent in that squad.
12:07 And they've got one of the best managers at the moment
12:09 in Europe that I'm sure most clubs in Europe
12:12 would love to have at the club as well.
12:15 So I think they really, really can shock a few people.
12:19 Again, in Europe, and what a great way to do it.
12:23 And the group they've got as well,
12:24 obviously starting with Athens,
12:26 and then they've also got to play Ajax and Marseille.
12:28 And even if they were just to get through that group,
12:30 then that really does highlight their credentials.
12:33 But as you say, the journey they've been on
12:35 from League One, only about 10 years ago or something,
12:39 it's amazing, really.
12:40 It's amazing the journey they've been on.
12:42 And it's hard to believe, I think,
12:44 that they're in the position they are now.
12:46 But being in the competition has allowed them
12:47 to attract some big names.
12:49 We've seen Ante Fati come in,
12:50 and he made his debut against Man United at the weekend.
12:54 I saw glimpses of what he can do.
12:56 And it was a shame he didn't tuck away that chance
12:58 that he had in the last couple of minutes.
13:00 Obviously denied by a great save,
13:01 but I think he'll definitely be looking to start
13:04 and really show the world, really, what he can do.
13:06 Obviously, he fell down the pecking order
13:08 a bit at Barcelona and has obviously ended up at Brighton now,
13:10 but the perfect place to show the world what he can do
13:14 and really make a name for himself again.
13:17 - Yeah, and I guess it's quite ironic, really,
13:18 because Brighton have signed Barcelona's number 10
13:21 youngest goalscorer in their history,
13:22 youngest goalscorer in the Spanish national team history.
13:24 And yet, going to Brighton doesn't necessarily feel
13:27 like a backwards step, does it, in his career?
13:29 - No, well, it seems to be the perfect place
13:32 to play, really, at the moment.
13:34 I think so many players must be looking at Brighton
13:37 as being the total football kind of way
13:39 that maybe Barcelona are kind of playing as well
13:42 without going too drastic.
13:44 But I think to be playing the football they are
13:47 in the Premier League, which is considered to be
13:49 one of the toughest leagues in Europe,
13:51 if not the toughest, then it kind of speaks volumes, really.
13:55 And Brighton are such a good club to be at,
13:58 such a good club to learn your football at,
13:59 and that's why I think people are trying to get Evan Ferguson
14:01 to stay there for as long as possible.
14:03 So you've seen players jump to bigger clubs too soon.
14:08 I think we've seen that.
14:09 I think, obviously, East Bissouma is now really starting
14:11 to make a name for himself
14:12 under Andrzej Prost and Kogut Spurs.
14:15 But I think we have seen there have been times
14:17 that they could have maybe stayed at Brighton
14:18 for another year or two, played under De Serbie,
14:21 and they could improve their game even more.
14:24 So I think the longer Brighton are at the top of the game,
14:26 the longer they're surprising people,
14:29 I think maybe the chance they can keep players a bit longer.
14:33 - Yeah, definitely.
14:34 I mean, we've seen it from a few clubs over the years,
14:35 you know, Everton, Wolves, West Ham, Leicester,
14:38 teams that are getting into Europe every now and then.
14:40 You do see that calibre of player they attract
14:42 is completely different.
14:43 And also you need that depth as well,
14:45 going into European competition.
14:47 And there's a lot of players in this Brighton team
14:48 who've never played in Europe before.
14:50 How difficult do you think it's going to be
14:51 for them playing Thursday, Sunday?
14:53 'Cause it's a lot of football and a lot of rotation
14:55 and some players don't like being rotated.
14:57 How do you think that's going to go down?
14:58 - Yeah, I think if you was asking me this last season,
15:01 I would have been a bit concerned
15:02 because I think that was something
15:03 that Brighton did struggle with.
15:04 And they seemed like they were playing
15:05 the same team every week.
15:07 Even when the fixture list got crazy
15:09 towards the end of the season,
15:10 we were still seeing the same names.
15:12 How Lewis Dunk was still standing up
15:14 by the end of the season, I don't know.
15:16 But I think this season is such a different story.
15:18 You think you saw against Man United,
15:20 six changes, nothing changed in the performance.
15:23 They backed up the win at Newcastle
15:24 with another convincing win at Watford.
15:28 And they were able to bring on some players late on,
15:30 like Anthony Fatty, Evan Ferguson.
15:33 And to be able to do that is incredible really,
15:36 to beat Man United with their almost B team
15:39 and bring on some superstar names
15:42 who will all now be fresh for Thursday.
15:44 I think if they keep managing to do that
15:46 and not affect their playing style
15:49 and not affect the performances,
15:51 I think, yeah, it's an incredible position to be in.
15:53 But as you say, players that haven't played
15:55 in Europe before.
15:56 So it'll be interesting to see how they get on.
15:58 But they strike me as the kind of club that won't change.
16:01 And Serbia strikes me as the type of man
16:03 that won't change his performance,
16:05 his way of playing against these European sides.
16:07 And I think it'll be really exciting to see.
16:09 - Yeah, definitely.
16:10 And obviously bringing our attention back
16:11 to the Athens game, it's a tough group,
16:14 as we've talked about before,
16:15 Ajax, Marseille, AEK Athens.
16:17 Do you see Brighton going through there?
16:20 - As I say, I think it's definitely possible.
16:21 I think if they're gonna go to Old Trafford
16:23 and convincingly win, convincingly beat Newcastle
16:27 the week before that, why not, I guess?
16:30 I think Ajax haven't had their best starts of the season.
16:33 I think the form at home will be the crucial factor.
16:37 I think if they can win their games at home
16:39 and maybe pick up a point here and there away,
16:41 or even more than that, I think they're more than capable
16:43 of getting through the group.
16:45 And if they do, then who knows where they can end up.
16:49 I think it's a perfect competition
16:51 for Brighton to be in, really.
16:53 Yeah, and I'm really looking forward
16:54 to seeing how they get on.
16:55 - Yeah, same, it'll be really exciting.
16:56 And like you said, you need to win your home games.
16:59 And more importantly, AEK Athens at home,
17:01 that's arguably gonna be your easiest game of the group.
17:03 How important is it that they win
17:04 and get the points on the board?
17:05 - Yeah, massively important, massively important.
17:07 And to have, as I say, those players fresh from the weekend.
17:11 Ferguson, I assume, will start.
17:13 Antifazio, I think, will start.
17:14 Might even be a first start for Carlos Bolivar as well.
17:18 Gilmore will be fresh coming back in.
17:20 I think they're gonna have so many of their top players
17:22 so fresh for this game.
17:24 As you say, probably against the supposedly weakest side
17:27 in the group.
17:28 But maybe a bit of an unknown.
17:29 Might not know what they could maybe pose
17:32 in terms of problems for Brighton.
17:35 But I think, yeah, they are in the best position possible
17:37 to start off with a win.
17:39 I think, as you say, it's such an important first game
17:42 to get the three points and ease any nerves.
17:44 - And obviously, looking ahead to Sunday,
17:46 we've got Bournemouth at home.
17:48 How do you see that gameplay now?
17:50 - Always a tough game against Bournemouth.
17:52 They never roll over easily.
17:53 I think they're obviously still looking for the first win.
17:56 But yeah, expecting a tough game.
17:59 But I expect with Brighton in the form they're in
18:01 to be able to win that one, I would say.
18:04 But as I say, I don't think it will be
18:07 as comfortable as you might expect.
18:08 I think Bournemouth do like to make things difficult.
18:11 So we'll see how that one plays out.
18:14 - Yeah, it'll be tough.
18:15 And obviously, Dominic Slankey,
18:16 he's just signed a new contract.
18:18 And he'll be looking to kind of put his name out there.
18:20 And yeah, there's a couple of players
18:22 on that Bournemouth team who are looking
18:24 to make a name for themselves.
18:24 Was he the manager as well?
18:26 He's looking out there, first win,
18:28 a lot of expectation coming from Ray Valarcano.
18:30 And do you think that's gonna be an added pressure
18:32 for Bournemouth going into the game
18:33 that it's yet another game without three points on the board?
18:36 - Yeah, I think so.
18:37 I think it's obviously one of the worst places to go
18:39 if you're still looking for that first win,
18:41 away at Brighton.
18:44 But you never know in the Premier League, do you?
18:46 You can throw out some surprise results.
18:49 So I think Brighton need to be at their best,
18:50 not to take anything for granted.
18:53 And if they do come away on Thursday night with a win,
18:55 you kind of hope they're not too much on the high
18:58 to kind of almost forget how difficult it would be
19:01 to win on Sunday.
19:02 But Serbia definitely wouldn't allow that.
19:04 And James Milner was speaking after the Newcastle game.
19:07 They obviously are taking one game at a time.
19:09 They're not getting too excited by the prospects of Europe.
19:12 And they'll be taking these Premier League games
19:14 very seriously and will be taking them
19:16 as important as each other.
19:18 - Yeah, and I think I completely agree with you there.
19:20 I think Bournemouth will be a lot tougher
19:21 than a lot of people expect it to be.
19:23 Obviously, Bournemouth got a draw against Chelsea,
19:26 obviously, looking at how Chelsea are this season.
19:27 Not too much of an accomplishment,
19:29 but they'll be seeing that as a huge point.
19:31 And you know, they've been playing some good football.
19:32 They got a relatively late winner,
19:34 sorry, equaliser against West Ham.
19:36 I think it'll be quite tough.
19:37 And they're a team that wants to be possession-based,
19:39 but as we've seen in the past,
19:40 Serbia almost prefers playing against teams
19:43 who want to have possession and like to counteract that.
19:46 'Cause when they face teams like West Ham and Everton
19:47 who have sat back and let them have the ball,
19:49 they've kind of become a bit stuck, haven't they?
19:51 - Yeah.
19:52 - Yeah, no, 100%.
19:53 And I think that's something that Bournemouth, obviously,
19:56 are great at in the league is kind of hanging on in there
19:58 and maybe nicking the point like they did against West Ham
20:00 and obviously Chelsea as well.
20:02 So you really can't take anything for granted
20:04 with them.
20:05 They obviously are a battling side
20:07 and have been in the Premier League
20:08 for a number of years now.
20:09 So they're still there for a reason
20:11 and we're looking to keep their place in the league.
20:13 I think they did really well last season as well.
20:17 I'm just looking to follow that up
20:19 with kind of maybe a higher finish in the league.
20:21 And we're looking to get another scalp at Brighton.
20:24 And that's what it would be,
20:25 I think now is to get a point
20:27 that the Amex would be a great result for them.
20:29 So yeah, I think it'd be a good game.
20:32 - If we cast our eyes towards the goal,
20:34 who do you see going in goal
20:35 for the AEK Athens game and the Bournemouth game?
20:37 Obviously that's went back to Jason Steele
20:39 for the Manchester United game.
20:40 What do you think is going to go on?
20:41 - It's almost impossible to predict really, isn't it?
20:43 I think after the West Ham game,
20:46 when Verbruggen obviously conceded three times,
20:49 I maybe expected Jason Steele
20:50 to take his place back in team against Newcastle
20:52 and that didn't happen.
20:54 And Verbruggen stayed in the team.
20:56 But then after they won that game,
20:57 then Jason Steele was put back in for the Old Trafford game.
21:01 So it's, yeah, a strange one.
21:02 It's completely impossible to predict.
21:04 I mean, the air of unpredictability
21:06 for the opposition as well.
21:08 They're really not knowing what goalkeeper
21:09 they're going to come up against.
21:11 So yeah, I couldn't really tell you
21:13 who's going to play in goal,
21:14 but if you're looking at it from the point of view
21:15 that he's played Verbruggen twice in a row,
21:17 maybe I think he'll probably play Steele
21:18 for a second time on Thursday night, potentially.
21:22 Or we might see it as that Jason Steele played on Saturday
21:26 and now he'll go with Verbruggen on Thursday.
21:29 But he was asked about it on Saturday,
21:32 what his plan is for the goalkeepers.
21:34 And he said, it isn't going to be a case
21:36 that one plays in the Premier League,
21:37 one plays in Europe.
21:38 Because he said it's not fair on either of them.
21:40 Because he said Jason Steele helped Brighton
21:43 get into the Europa League.
21:45 So he deserves to play in the Europa League.
21:46 And Verbruggen signed for Brighton,
21:47 knowing that they're in.
