00:00 Everybody good?
00:00 All right.
00:02 So today was a good start to the week. Good start for Tuesday.
00:06 Obviously, implementing parts of the game plan, facing a team
00:11 that can show you a lot of different things, offensively,
00:13 defensively, special teams. So getting that introduced and I
00:16 thought our guys, they battled, there was good emotional
00:20 practice. We got to make sure we're controlling some of those
00:24 emotions that time, but I thought it was good competitive
00:27 work.
00:27 Does Clemson's offense look any different this year compared to
00:33 the last couple years?
00:34 I mean, it's got its, you know, it's definitely got its new
00:37 wrinkles, things that they do. I mean, there's still certain
00:39 things that they're doing that they've done. But, you know,
00:43 it's definitely some new wrinkles that are being added
00:45 into it.
00:46 What makes Will Shipley so dangerous beyond just being a
00:49 good runner?
00:50 No, I mean, it's his versatility. I mean, he's a
00:52 hard-nosed runner. He's going to make you tackle him. He's got
00:56 speed. He's got power. He can make people miss. But then it's
01:00 versatility of all the things he can do, you know, working out of
01:02 the backfield, lining up in the slot, you know, you always got
01:05 to be able to count for him. And he's just a really, really,
01:08 really good player.
01:08 Do they use him any differently this year versus how he's been
01:11 used?
01:11 No, I mean, last year, they used him a lot last year as well. So
01:15 I mean, it's a versatile offense. They can get their
01:17 playmakers in a bunch of different spots. I think they do
01:20 a good job with him.
01:20 How do you think Jordan looked today?
01:22 Good. He did a good job, came out. You know, obviously a lot
01:26 of communication things today, but I thought he got a good work
01:29 day.
01:30 When it comes to communications issues, is it a matter of like
01:33 you can never over communicate?
01:34 Yeah, I mean, it's, you know, it's all part of it's the
01:38 urgency of the communication. And it's, we sit in there and
01:42 say, all right, what are you doing this? What are you doing
01:43 that? You know, and guys can answer the question correctly.
01:46 You can do it, you know, even in a walkthrough at times. But
01:48 when it's all speed, all, you know, things within the
01:52 atmosphere, everything's tied into it. It's the execution. So
01:55 you got to push yourself to that intensity level. As you're
01:58 working through that.
01:59 Outside of Doak, is Clemson the loudest places you've coached
02:03 before?
02:03 Don't sit there and say I remember that.
02:08 With the passing game has been fine. But our team's taking away
02:16 the stuff. Like stuff up in the middle. It doesn't seem like
02:20 Justin Winston, those guys have got a lot.
02:21 It's all part of just different things, progressions, you take
02:26 what the defense gives us. It's all kind of fun.
02:29 When you run new stuff in a game like this, is it stuff that you'll
02:32 be working on for the first time this week? Or is it recall from
02:35 camp that you're
02:36 no, I mean, everything. I mean, we run what we run. There's
02:39 different wrinkles, different ways of attack, maybe one one or
02:42 two things a week that you'll put in.
02:43 All right, guys.
02:48 Thanks guys, enjoy.
02:49 - Thanks.
