00:02 Hi, I'm Mimi Keen, and I'm gonna walk you through
00:07 my daily skincare routine,
00:09 and my easy, glowy day to night makeup look.
00:14 Firstly, I am going to put on Blistex.
00:18 Sometimes I go out here, you know,
00:22 'cause it feels really good.
00:24 I'll always start with teeth whitening strip.
00:27 I'm using these Gleam ones.
00:29 (upbeat music)
00:31 I'm gonna leave these on for a little bit.
00:33 Now I'm gonna cleanse.
00:39 I'm using a cleansing balm.
00:43 You to the people, I don't like water from the sink,
00:47 'cause it drips down my arms.
00:49 I can't have that.
00:50 A really cool trick that I learned on set,
00:59 I'll get a hot flannel out of the microwave,
01:01 drape it over your face, and then give it a few seconds,
01:04 and then wipe it all off.
01:06 Eye patches, these are the gold ones.
01:10 It's like a modern version of cucumbers.
01:13 This is a very light moisturizer, Dr. Jart.
01:20 I love this eye cream.
01:25 This is the Kiehl's.
01:26 It's called Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.
01:30 As far as I'm concerned, this is just pure avocado.
01:33 I usually just put a bit on that finger, even it up.
01:36 When I started secondary school,
01:41 started having a skincare routine.
01:43 I mean, if I could go back and be doing skincare routine
01:46 from being a baby, I would, 'cause it's nice.
01:50 It's like definitely like my favorite time in the evening,
01:54 my favorite time in the morning.
01:56 Sunscreen, take it serious.
01:58 The sun is very strong, and we love her.
02:03 These lines here, your smile lines, which everyone has.
02:11 When you laugh, you smile, but if you're wearing makeup,
02:15 if these lines increase your makeup,
02:17 and you're trying to keep your makeup fresh,
02:19 when I'm on set, 'cause I have to keep the makeup
02:22 the same each take, each take.
02:24 So I do that, that's how I laugh.
02:27 Everyone makes fun of me for my laugh, but you know what?
02:28 It's catching on, the pufferfish laugh.
02:31 I can hear my mom going, "Mimi, your neck."
02:34 Some more Blistex.
02:37 This Blistex is not always in the shops.
02:44 This is the Blistex Relief Cream.
02:46 This is the one.
02:47 We're done with skincare, skin prep,
02:49 and now we're gonna go into the makeup side of things.
02:51 Future Dew Oil Serum Hybrid.
02:53 It gives you like a dewy base.
02:56 So even if you put makeup on top,
02:58 you're still gonna have that dewy look from it.
02:59 This is like one of my favorite things in the world.
03:03 It's also kind of like a barrier
03:11 between your skincare, your skin prep, and your makeup.
03:15 This is the Armani Concealer.
03:20 (upbeat music)
03:22 If I have breakouts around my chin
03:27 and the lower side of my face, which I think is hormonal.
03:30 If you have a breakout, obviously leave it alone, right?
03:35 Which I feel like everyone's learned the hard way.
03:37 I was very friendly with my hands to my face
03:41 when I was a teenager.
03:42 I use this brush for everything.
03:44 Up into my eye.
03:48 Being on set, I do usually have heavier makeup.
03:52 It's always gonna be heavier makeup
03:53 because it needs to last all day
03:54 and it needs to look the same.
03:56 Kind of wanna go for Sandra Bullock
03:59 when she's running with the dogs in "Practical Magic"
04:03 around the corner to meet her husband.
04:07 That scene, the way she is, her vibe, the shorts,
04:11 the look, her hair in the wind.
04:13 She was just doing gardening before that.
04:15 That's my vibe.
04:16 If I met her, I don't know what would happen.
04:18 I have to be honest.
04:20 Oh God, one day, maybe.
04:22 I don't know, I can't laugh.
04:23 Gonna crease the makeup.
04:27 Jones Road blusher.
04:30 I always prefer to use makeup that's liquid or balm
04:34 or stick rather than powder.
04:36 (upbeat music)
04:39 Usually we'll have two makeup trucks at work,
04:53 but it's mixed.
04:54 Boys, girls, whoever's in first will start the music.
04:57 I don't because I don't think people are ready
05:01 for what's gonna come out of my phone.
05:04 Sometimes I listen to Christmas music.
05:05 It's not Christmas.
05:06 I know that's a sin.
05:07 I know it's terrible.
05:08 Armani bronzer.
05:09 Next step is eyebrows.
05:18 UK makeup trend I have seen on TikTok, I think.
05:24 The orange makeup, foundation lips.
05:26 Foundation lips were a thing.
05:29 And if you weren't there, you weren't there,
05:34 but they were hot.
05:35 And if you were cool, you had no lips.
05:37 You tattooed them on.
05:39 Like they're that, no, not one flick of a hair, block solid.
05:44 And you know what?
05:46 It happened.
05:48 It was a time in history.
05:50 It's over.
05:50 Thank God, 'cause it wasn't a look.
05:53 Banal mascara, which pops out.
06:00 I'm sorry.
06:01 Who came up with that?
06:02 Fantastic.
06:04 You don't have to twist it.
06:05 Just comes out.
06:07 We're gonna do the shaky shaky,
06:08 which is what my mom taught me.
06:10 Now we're going into the final step, which is lips.
06:27 If I'm out, you'll always find me with a lip liner.
06:29 It's kind of blunt.
06:33 We're getting somewhere.
06:34 I don't want to push my luck.
06:36 Oh gosh.
06:37 Heart's gone pitter patter, pitter patter.
06:41 I don't know if anyone used to watch Kim Possible,
06:43 but I love Kim Possible.
06:45 My ringtone is Kim Possible.
06:48 Her lip in the show is just the top lip
06:50 and it just goes straight across like that.
06:52 I used to love it.
06:52 So that's how I used to do my lip.
06:54 And then I realized that I'm not a cartoon,
06:56 so I can't do that.
06:57 I like to just do a bit of over lining,
06:59 but only literally to here.
07:03 I'm more like dotting, I guess, like dotting an edge.
07:10 So you don't end up with like a sharp line.
07:12 Blistex does have a color.
07:18 It's just very, very faint.
07:21 This is the daytime look.
07:29 I'm going to take this headband off,
07:31 do something about my fringe,
07:32 and then I'm going to show you how to
07:35 add a little something to it
07:36 to make it more appropriate for the nighttime.
07:38 I like to just add a lipstick.
07:46 Armani looks like this.
07:48 When it comes to scents, I do prefer to use an oil.
07:57 Twirl my hair around my wrist
08:00 so that then it's on my hair.
08:01 That is the final look.
08:03 Thank you.
08:05 Love you all.
