00:00 Based on the programme's plan, I would like to inform you that Mitra has used up the 100 million dollars that has been given and used up for the year 2023.
00:21 If we look at the previous years, 2016 only used 35%, 2017 used 57%, 2018 used 1%, 2019 used 58%, 2020 used 63%,
00:45 2021 used 73%, 2022 used 63%.
00:53 For the year 2023, I am happy to inform you that 100% has been used.
01:03 Among the programmes and initiatives that we have included are the Young People's Education Subsidy, Primary Education Subsidy, Dialysis Subsidy,
01:21 Social Economy Development Programme with the co-operation of 72 People's Welfare Centre, Technical Drone Operation and Data Services Programme,
01:32 Electrified Automation Advancement Programme, and Computer Aid Programme for Tamil National University.
01:50 While the other payments for Mitra's initiatives are in the process of payment.
02:00 Today, we have three programmes that we will implement.
02:12 The first programme is Mitra, together with the JPM, the Prime Minister's Office, will implement Mitra's Poverty Reduction Programme for the Indian Home Ownership (AIR)
02:28 which will be implemented phase by phase.
02:34 For the first phase of implementation in 2023, the funds will be given to the poor Indian community in Perseketuan.
02:43 As many as 1,800 houses have been identified through the IKASIH system, the Unit for Implementation of ICU,
02:54 where their per capita income is less than RM339.
03:04 The per capita income must be increased to help the homeowners out of the category of the poor.
03:13 For the programme, 8.24 million have been allocated.
03:22 The details of the programme will be announced by the Prime Minister to address the poverty in Tegal this year.
03:34 If possible, the budget will come. Maybe the budget from Dato' and Mitra will be added next year.
03:48 Based on the fact that Mitra has already spent the entire budget provided for the first time since its establishment in 2016,
04:01 when it was called CIDIC and in 2019 when it was later renamed Mitra,
04:07 I am sure that the Prime Minister will definitely take into account the fact that the money was spent and well spent.
04:17 I also hope that he will definitely give a bigger amount to the Indian community,
04:23 but I leave it to his wisdom to decide what is the right course of action to take and what direction we should head in.
04:31 Thank you.
