00:02 Monday Night Football, where generally speaking through the years,
00:06 the home underdog on Monday Night Football is winning more than 50% of the time historically.
00:11 We have two of those tonight.
00:13 And so let's touch on these two games.
00:15 Let's start off with the first game.
00:17 We've got the Saints taking on the Panthers.
00:19 This line has been stuck on three for a while here.
00:22 New Orleans minus three on the road at Carolina.
00:25 Very low total as the first game and the second game, both under 40.
00:28 At 39 and a half.
00:31 Any position here on this?
00:33 Do you think Carolina can keep this close?
00:35 Do the Saints deserve to be a three point favorite over anybody in the NFL at this
00:40 point? What do you make of this game?
00:41 >> I think the Saints are a deserving favorite.
00:45 That defense did a great job last week of stifling the Tennessee Titans.
00:49 We saw how the Titans were able to hit on some of those explosive plays last week
00:53 against the Chargers.
00:54 They were able to run the football a touch better.
00:57 The Saints just have a really sound fundamental defense and
01:01 they're healthy right now.
01:02 And sometimes when they get less healthy, a little bit more beat up,
01:05 that's when they fall off.
01:06 They're in a good position right now.
01:07 I think Dennis Allen, I don't like him as a coach, but he obviously knows defense and
01:11 he knows how to coach these guys up.
01:13 I think they'll be prepared to take on a rookie quarterback.
01:15 So I do think they're a deserving favorite.
01:17 Will I lay the points?
01:19 No, I will not.
01:19 Do I have any interest in laying a road favorite in Carolina against a rookie?
01:24 No, I do not.
01:25 I have no position on this game whatsoever, side total, and no props either.
01:29 And that's okay, because I've got a couple of props to discuss with you
01:32 in the second game.
01:33 But sometimes it's okay to have no position on a game.
01:36 I'm going to be watching this game.
01:37 Most important thing, I want to see the development of Frank Reich and
01:41 his rookie quarterback and how much more efficient they can get week to week here.
01:45 Because it's definitely vital to see growth and progress and
01:50 how he's going to help keep his quarterback upright against a very physical
01:54 front of the New Orleans States.
