The AirAsia SuperApp will soon be renamed AirAsia Move as part of efforts by Capital A Bhd, formerly AirAsia Group Bhd, to expand its services beyond the airline industry.  The application's name change in the coming months will also see the integration of Capital A's digital financial services superapp, BigPay. 01:05 said this during the rebranding launch on Monday.

01:09 In addition to the super app's current services,

01:11 the full integration will also provide users

01:14 with other financial services such as buy now, pay later,

01:17 remittance and even bite-sized insurance for its customers.

01:23 The transition is expected to be completed

01:25 by the end of 2023.

01:27 The transition will also involve

01:29 rebranding Capital A's digital arm AirAsia Digital

01:32 to AirAsia Move Digital,

01:34 with Fernandes appointed as its Executive Chairman.
