00:00 So we're here with Coco Jones. Coco, tell me about this look first and foremost because you're giving money.
00:05 LOL. This is a full Moschino look styled by my stylist Joy Bridges. She did amazing.
00:10 And we thank her for that.
00:12 I do as well.
00:13 Absolutely. So on Twitter, I saw that D Miles was saying, "Why are y'all saying that R&B is coming back?
00:19 It's been back and it's already here. How do you feel about the current state of R&B and your presence in it?"
00:24 I feel like R&B can be so many different things.
00:27 I'm really excited for myself to work on my debut album and to continue to contribute more to R&B staying relevant.
00:34 And I mean for people who are listening, it's never gone away.
00:38 What is a song that made you fall in love with music?
00:41 "Love" by Keisha Cole. It definitely had me in a chokehold.
00:44 I know you were at your young age
00:46 belting it just like I was.
00:48 You know, I had several auditions with that song. Okay, shout out to Keisha. That got me a couple jobs. Thank you.
00:53 We are very thankful for Keisha Cole, honestly. We really are.
00:56 So what was one of your favorite VMA memories since we are here on the pink carpet?
01:01 I think one of my favorite VMA memories is when Beyonce did the Lemonade compilation performance. She killed it.
01:06 Yeah, I just got chills thinking about it. I mean, she is that girl.
01:10 And is.
01:12 So like you said, this debut album, what can we expect coming from you in this new chapter of "Coco"?
01:17 I'm really excited to just be a little more creatively confident.
01:21 I think my debut EP was like me the freshman and I'm excited to be more in my sophomore energy.
01:26 Okay, so we sitting to ourselves for real.
01:28 Dot com. Dot com.
01:30 I love that. I love that. Well, thank you so much and have fun tonight.
01:32 Thank you.
