00:00 But did that game remind you of Washington State's last year?
00:03 Yeah, it actually did.
00:04 We were-- me and the boys were all sitting there, man.
00:07 It's crazy you say that, because we said that before it even
00:09 was over.
00:10 We were just like, just like Washington State, man.
00:12 We've been here, like, we never lost doubt
00:14 in our preparation.
00:16 So it was just like, we really-- like, the D-line was like,
00:18 just like Washington State.
00:20 And then you see Boston get the pick, and we're like, dang,
00:22 just like Washington State, I guess.
00:24 So it was like a jinx for us.
00:25 So we were just laughing on the sidelines, just--
00:27 but I think our-- we really fell down to our preparation.
00:30 I think Lanning and the guys did a great job of just coaching
00:33 us up that entire week and just kind of talking about adversity.
00:36 And that was the biggest thing he talked about this week.
00:39 And I think it showed up for us, man.
00:40 We left a lot on the table.
00:41 I feel like I left a lot on the table.
00:43 I feel like as a defense, we left a lot.
00:44 And I know that offense feels like they left a lot.
00:46 And that wasn't our best performance,
00:47 but I feel like we fought it.
00:49 We played a really good team, man.
00:50 I'm just happy to get out of there with the Doves,
00:53 that's all you can ask for.
00:54 What do you feel like you guys as a defense in particular
00:56 left on the table?
00:57 What do you mean by that?
00:59 For us, it was more just putting communications on film.
01:02 We could have got a couple more sacks than we did.
01:05 I missed a couple sacks.
01:06 Tackles and just kind of just talking up front,
01:09 just kind of getting home and keeping
01:11 just Tyler in the pocket.
01:12 And I think that's one thing we got to work on,
01:14 especially with these few games coming up,
01:16 especially this week too, just kind of working
01:18 on those things we messed up.
01:19 So opponents don't use that as a weakness for us.
01:22 Yeah, it can be hard to kind of take lessons from a win.
01:25 When you lose, obviously you see areas for growth.
01:28 It can be a little more challenging not
01:30 to get satisfied with a win.
01:31 How do you feel like you guys have embraced that attitude
01:33 the last couple of days?
01:34 Just going to the doctors.
01:35 Like Lanny says, people talk about that,
01:37 but that's something he really preaches,
01:38 is going to the doctor.
01:39 So we all came in.
01:41 He talked about that.
01:42 It was a great game.
01:43 And he talked about how we beat ourselves.
01:45 So the thing for us was cleaning up those small things
01:48 and just talking about communicating.
01:50 So then we went in and corrected all of the mistakes
01:53 we made the games.
01:53 And it kind of was nice to see that.
01:55 He was like, OK, this is where I could have been better.
01:57 This is the step from being good to great.
01:59 So that's the one thing I appreciate about Lanny
02:02 and going to the doctors on Sunday.
