00:10 >> Environment like, what'd you learn about your team in a hostile environment
00:20 in the game you guys had to come back and get some stops?
00:22 >> We were poised, our connection really grew.
00:25 We were down at a lot of times, we had a lot of costly, costly penalties that
00:29 cost us our offense, bad field position, stuff like that.
00:31 But our defense on the sideline, we kept our composure.
00:34 We never thought once we're out of the game.
00:35 We knew that we had the game the whole time.
00:37 So the connection part really showed forcing in the game and brought us together.
00:41 >> Where's that connection, that confidence come from?
00:43 Where was that developed?
00:44 Where does it come from?
00:45 >> It comes from our meetings, our connection.
00:47 Every time we break it down, we say connection, growth, toughness,
00:50 stuff like that.
00:51 So just repeating that every day and just making that our life,
00:54 it just shows on the field when we go out there and we face adversity.
00:57 >> What was the significance of this one for you,
01:00 of getting to start playing a ton of snaps prior to career high and
01:04 performing well against past happy offense out there?
01:06 >> Really just my preparation, I practice, I practice.
01:09 They rotate us a lot, so everybody can be ready whenever their time is called.
01:12 So my number was called last Saturday and I was just ready when my time came.
01:17 >> Can you self evaluate how you performed out there?
01:19 >> I feel like I did pretty well, but when we went back and
01:22 watched film, there's a lot of stuff you can clean up.
01:24 I feel like my effort could have been a lot better on a lot of those things.
01:27 So just stay in the shape and being conditioned and
01:30 being ready to play 50 snaps if we have to, stuff like that.
01:33 So just being conditioned, my effort, and just giving more of a team effort,
01:37 individual effort, I mean, that's it.
01:39 >> How much better do you feel like you're prepared,
01:42 just more advanced in your skill sets from this time last year?
01:45 You played last year, but this is a big jump for you in snaps.
01:48 >> I feel like I got a lot better, definitely because over the spring,
01:50 I learned a lot of the star position.
01:52 And it really helped me learn our defense and
01:54 learn where people are supposed to be on the field.
01:57 And it just helped me grow and help other people on the field as well.
02:01 And just getting more reps, getting more reps is gonna help you as much as you need.
02:05 Just getting reps on the field and once you get the more reps,
02:07 you get comfortable out there and the game just slows down.
02:10 >> You feel that slowing down?
02:11 >> Most definitely, most definitely.
02:12 >> What have you seen so far in looking ahead to Hawaii and
02:16 another just when it's like pass heavy, almost pass exclusive offense and
02:19 just the number of receivers there?
02:21 >> Yeah, so they got a nice receiving core, they like to throw the ball deep.
02:24 A lot of quarterback throws deep, mostly every play.
02:28 So we're gonna have to be ready to run and be ready to cover these guys this week.
02:30 >> Anything else?
02:34 >> Yes.
02:35 >> Thank you.
02:36 >> Great, thank you guys.
