Ayesha Curry opens up about playing outside as a kid and why it’s important for children to play.
Transcript
00:00 I did get outside and I played,
00:01 but when it comes to like organized sports,
00:05 organized team activities,
00:07 I did not get to do a lot of that.
00:10 And it's something that we in our household
00:12 talk about a lot,
00:13 because it does set the pillar for things
00:16 outside of even the exercise, right?
00:18 It sets the pillars for like
00:19 the fundamentals of communication
00:21 and understanding how to build relationships
00:23 and just your overall character,
00:27 time management, understanding the routine,
00:30 like how to have a routine in life.
00:32 And so I think from that perspective,
00:34 it is so important and it's something that
00:37 I didn't have growing up in my childhood
00:41 that I'm like now instilling in my kids.
00:43 And it's so important to me
00:45 because I had to learn quick on my feet
00:47 as I got older and gain those skills
00:50 like later on in my life.
