00:00 Miami gets it done and they fought through adversity that entire game to beat the Texas
00:04 A&M Aggies, to beat Jimbo Fisher, to beat Bobby Petrino.
00:08 48 to 33, the Hurricanes win.
00:12 And folks, we all saw how that game started.
00:16 We all saw all of the sloppiness and the mistakes in the first quarter.
00:21 If this had been last year's Miami team out there, starting the game the way that they
00:26 did, they would have gotten steamrolled.
00:31 This year's team ain't last year's team.
00:33 And thank goodness for that.
00:36 Restrepo had a big drop on third down on Miami's first possession.
00:40 Your punt gets blocked.
00:42 A&M scores on their opening drive that started at your 15-yard line.
00:46 Later, Jacoby George muffed a punt.
00:49 We were having deja vu to last year when Tyreek Stevenson muffed a punt against A&M.
00:54 Now Jacoby's mistake served A&M right up around Miami's nine-yard line.
00:59 They punched that in to go up 17 to 7.
01:02 Hurricanes also had some drive-killing penalties on offense, drive-extending penalties on defense.
01:07 The Canes were penalized 10 times for 115 yards.
01:11 The Miami of last year would absolutely not have come back, overcome that stuff, and won
01:17 this game.
01:19 But folks, some of those names that I mentioned, guys who had mistakes and errors in this game,
01:25 special teams, Jacoby George, Restrepo, the way that they responded was nothing short
01:32 of incredible.
01:33 Restrepo, who had that tough start to the game.
01:36 Remember, X didn't play against Texas A&M last year.
01:39 Played this year, and he played great.
01:41 Restrepo ends up finishing the game with six catches for 126 yards.
01:46 I especially love the sideline catch that he made late in the second quarter to set
01:50 up Miami's go-ahead touchdown.
01:53 Tremendous hands, tremendous foot placement, knew exactly where he was.
01:57 And X was also breaking tackles all day.
02:00 The yak was impressive.
02:01 I mentioned the name Jacoby George.
02:04 What a response for him.
02:06 After muffing that punt early in the game, which that's the type of moment that can really
02:11 damage a player mentally for the rest of the game, he comes out, he scores three receiving
02:16 touchdowns.
02:17 Best game of his career in a Miami uniform.
02:20 And yeah, the Hurricane special teams unit, who had costly moments in the first half,
02:25 the muff, also the blocked punt in the second half, right after giving up a touchdown to
02:31 Texas A&M, the Hurricanes take the next kickoff, 98 yards for six, Brashard Smith.
02:38 Brashard Smith takes the kickoff to the house.
02:41 What a freaking response from the special teams unit, and what a moment for Brashard.
02:45 That building got electric.
02:47 Hard Rock State.
02:48 I know you had all the national anus, all the college game day, all the national guys
02:53 were like, well, they don't have any fans there.
02:56 It's going to be all Texas A&M fans.
02:59 No one's going to show up.
03:00 They don't care about football in Miami.
03:02 That building was pretty freaking electric when Brashard Smith took that ball to the
03:05 house and those weren't the Texas A&M fans screaming and going crazy when they gave up
03:10 six points on that play.
03:11 Those were the Miami fans, my friends.
03:14 Isaiah Horton, what a catch for him.
03:17 Remember, he didn't have the best game in the opener last week against Miami, Ohio.
03:21 This week, he perfectly tracks a Tyler Van Dyke deep ball, made a tremendous move to
03:26 get open, and he catches a 52-yard bomb for a touchdown.
03:31 I was jumping up and down.
03:32 I was so happy for Isaiah to make that catch.
03:36 Every time Miami was down in the game or every time Texas A&M answered and got a big touchdown
03:42 or an important stop and the Hurricanes needed to answer, they dug deep, they made plays,
03:49 and Miami answered every single time.
