00:00 How disguised is Diana if we can still see her flying?
00:04 Here's your look at the brand-new McFarlane Toys Superpowers Invisible Jets Wonder Woman's Jets.
00:09 [music]
00:27 Wonder Woman sometimes employs an invisible jets one that is undetectable
00:32 by the naked eye or by most radar systems. This remarkable camouflage
00:36 effect is achieved by the use of an individual tiles that appear purple from
00:40 the inside. Surprisingly the Amazon can convert any aircraft to make it
00:44 invisible using this technology. Being that I can't really see where this jet
00:49 is I'm just gonna have to kind of guess it when it comes to measuring it. While
00:52 I'm doing that I'd like to thank the folks over at McFarlane Toys that did
00:56 provide the sample of the Superpowers Wonder Woman's Invisible Jets that we
01:00 could have a look at this review. I'm only kidding I can actually see it's
01:02 right in front of me. The vehicle though is really small in fact it's actually
01:06 only about eight and a half inches in length or it's gonna be in this case I
01:10 would say about 23 centimeters long. To put that in proper perspective of just
01:15 how big this is the smallest vehicle that we had leading up to this was
01:19 actually Batman's Batwing. If you actually look at the two lining them up
01:23 they're actually not that much different in size. You could maybe if any if
01:28 anything say that the Invisible Jet is just a tad bit longer but when you're
01:32 actually looking at the sizing of it they're actually pretty close in size to
01:35 one another. Other vehicles we can also bring in as well as the Supermobile and
01:39 obviously maybe I'll bring in the move the Batwing out of the way. The
01:43 Supermobile is a lot bigger and this is almost where I feel like the sizing of
01:47 the the actual Invisible Jet should have been. Closer maybe more to the actual
01:51 Supermobile and maybe not as small as the Batwing we got before. And of course
01:59 we're gonna be looking at the Invisible Jet. I did want to bring in a Wonder Woman
02:02 for comparison's sake. I'm using for this time around actually the classic looking
02:06 color Wonder Woman that came part of this wave. To fit the figure inside it's
02:10 simple you're just gonna open up the cockpit and we'll kind of get down to
02:13 those all those things in a moment. In the meantime let's just move Wonder Woman
02:15 out of the way. Some assembly was required for the Invisible Jet. The wings
02:20 as well as the back will all be things that you have to install to the vehicle
02:24 when you first get this out of its cardboard box. You'll be happy to know
02:27 one thing I always try to think of when I'm putting together vehicles like this
02:30 for the first time. Let's say that I down the road decide I want to store this
02:34 away back in the box. Now obviously it's not gonna be able to go in the box the
02:37 way you see it right now because now I've since added the wings. I've added
02:40 the back of this. Would I be able to disassemble this? Well we're dealing with
02:44 clear plastics. Right away that might be a hard thing to kind of consider the
02:48 idea of now starting to remove these tabs. One thing they smartly did, McFarlane's
02:53 team, is they actually when you attach the wings, I'm just going to attach one
02:57 of them so you guys can see, you're not actually taking the little clip pieces
03:01 and snapping it in. That's the kind of plastic you would have to then worry
03:05 about if you ever decide you want to dismantle in this and put it back in the
03:08 box. Instead what they did smartly was if you look at the front of it or at least
03:13 the side where the wings slide in place you're literally sliding them in place.
03:16 You take the larger section of the tab, you fit it into the more larger opening
03:21 and then you shift it across. Let me just show you what I mean by that. So you fit
03:25 it in and then while it's in place then you just push your hand back on it kind
03:30 of like that and it snaps the wing then in place. So really for all intents and
03:34 purposes if down the road you decide you want to store this away because it looks
03:37 better maybe in a box, simply then just slide the wings forward. Do the exact
03:42 same thing then on the other side and actually the back is the easiest. It
03:45 really just clips very very carefully. Well actually not even carefully. It sits
03:49 literally into those open grooves on the back and this actually also serves the
03:53 purpose of the gimmick that's built into it. So for that it obviously has to be in
03:57 a place where you'd be able to push it up and down. So easily if you remove then
04:01 all the parts you could then for all intents and purposes fit this back in
04:04 the box and you're good to go. For this obviously as we want to see everything
04:08 that goes on with this I'm gonna put everything back in place the way I found
04:11 it. Again we're just gonna take the wings put them in the grooves push them back
04:15 just a little bit that's gonna snap them in place and then this isn't so much
04:19 gonna be snapping in place as it literally is just gonna be fitting into
04:23 those clips and then it's still removable. I mean it's very easy in fact
04:26 to detach and remove it. Maybe I may have pushed it down too far but yeah you
04:31 should be able just to remove this. Maybe now I've actually pushed it too far.
04:33 Maybe what I would even suggest is when it comes time to putting this together
04:37 for the first time maybe not push it far as far down because now it looks like
04:40 I've clearly snapped it in place. So now yeah maybe that's like I may have to
04:44 even heat that up just a little bit to now remove this. Anyways though it does
04:48 have of course the canopy on the front it's very similar to that of the
04:51 Supermobile. In this case though you actually have yourself a Wonder Woman
04:54 symbol. It's probably a little harder to see because of course the composition of
04:57 this is all clear plastic but you push the front of this and it opens up the
05:01 canopy. Inside you'll see there's a steering wheel and cleverly they've
05:05 sculpted the steering wheel to be a Wonder Woman symbol. It doesn't actually
05:08 turn so don't try to turn it. You're only gonna probably be breaking the peg
05:11 inside but then you're gonna take yourself your Wonder Woman. Just put it
05:15 in more in a seated position and then there's enough clearance if I can
05:18 hopefully show you guys. There's an opening at the bottom of this that you
05:21 just then take the wing, take the legs. I actually find it helps to pinch the legs
05:24 together so that it clears the opening and then you just slide Wonder Woman in
05:28 place. You can also bring her arms forward but she really doesn't have I
05:32 mean if you have her seated as far back as you have it right now
05:36 there's real no way that she's gonna be actually able to touch and hold on to
05:40 the steering wheel. You have to more so just pretend. Anyways we're just gonna
05:43 close up the canopy and while clearly you'll be able to see that there's Wonder
05:47 Woman sitting it almost looks like she's just sitting in a chair in sky while
05:51 she's flying around but she actually holds it sits the figure quite well.
05:54 Another figure just in case you're curious is to see like the sizing of it.
05:58 Let's take let's take Flash. I happen to have a Flash here on the ready. You can
06:02 take also just a regular male figure body and that also fits inside the
06:06 canopy too so it doesn't have to be necessarily specific to Diana though we
06:10 all know this is Diana's ride. The other thing I did also want to show you guys
06:14 is the fact that you flip this upside down while it unfortunately doesn't have
06:17 a landing gear. That's one thing I wish it could have had. It does have though a
06:20 grabbing claw and the way they've actually sculpted the claw they've made
06:24 it flat so even though it doesn't actually have a landing gear on the
06:26 front or on the back because this is flat after all it sits flat when you put
06:31 it on the shelf. I mean I would have liked if they could have actually had a
06:34 landing gear but at least it does have this being flat that it sits flat on the
06:38 shelf it doesn't weeble or wobble or anything like that. The claw itself as
06:43 you can see does have a Wonder Woman symbol there to the top. All you do is
06:46 just remove the clip like this and then you dangle it down. Now this does
06:50 actually open up also as well so you can't pretend like it's grabbing a bad
06:53 guy for example. Do I have a bad guy somewhere in the veil? I got Nightwing.
06:57 We'll just pretend like Nightwing's a bad guy for right now. You can actually
07:00 take the clip maybe it would be helpful if actually I just move his arms out of
07:05 the way you can put this around the waist and it closes quite shut. It closes
07:09 all the way around and actually snaps in on itself so it holds. Now this would
07:14 obviously have worked so much better with a bad guy but just use your
07:17 imagination for right now it actually is grabbing on to a bad guy and let's say
07:20 down like you can also pull the cord and kind of gives us what I think almost
07:24 looks like a lasso of truth so it's kind of got this on the inside cavity of its
07:29 body and then let's say for example it's grabbed Nightwing. Well what are we
07:33 gonna do with Nightwing right now? You could fly away while still dragging him
07:36 from below but then if you take the button on the top here which essentially
07:40 you're just gonna be taking the back wing and pushing it down. What it does is
07:43 it brings the claw towards you. It does what it ends up doing is it pushes a
07:47 little button on the back. Now this is all spring-loaded so if you pull the
07:51 cord all the way down for example when you press this it's gonna release the
07:55 mechanism that then will wind this back up and I'm gonna do this from a distance
08:00 so hopefully you guys can see. When you push this down it brings the claw
08:03 towards you. Sometimes though by just the sheer force of how far it's and how
08:08 quickly it's pulling this claw back it sometimes does release whoever's inside
08:11 the claw so that's one thing but I'm glad to see actually they found a way to
08:15 include a gimmick that doesn't involve you having to wind this manually. Again
08:19 you just press the button on the back and it brings the claw towards you and
08:23 then easily from there all you're gonna do then is just take the claw you want
08:26 to make sure of course these are closed back together and then this just snaps
08:29 back into the undercarriage of the plane. Very smart the way that they've done
08:33 that. The only thing about it though is it's quite small especially when again
08:37 we take Wonder Woman just gonna open up the canopy here take ourselves the
08:40 Wonder Woman figure and fit her legs in there. When you look at the proportions
08:44 of how big Wonder Woman is compared to the jet that she flies, admittingly it is
08:48 on the more smaller side. Again like when to compare it it looks really the
08:52 closest in scale to like say for example the Batwing. I'm glad to see at least we
08:57 did get ourselves an invisible jet. As preposterous as the idea may be that
09:00 Diana's flying around even in the old cartoons it was always the case you
09:04 couldn't see the invisible there or you kind of saw the outline of it but you'd
09:07 still be able to see Diana so it would almost just look like she was sitting
09:10 down she could have ideally been sitting down on an invisible flying toilet but
09:15 anyways I do like the idea that we got ourselves an invisible jet. It's a little
09:18 on the go granted on the smaller side but it's a well constructed jet all
09:22 clear plastic of course and does have the functioning gimmick. Yeah it's a nice
09:26 looking toy. I would have preferred still like we got ourselves a Batmobile so
09:30 that right away makes me happy but I'm glad as sort of like a secondary which
09:34 seems to be the case that we get ourselves like a large vehicle we even
09:37 got that with the initial wave for example I'm just gonna slide that one
09:40 over we did get like for example the the Supermobile and because we got the
09:44 Supermobile as the size it is it usually then meant we got ourselves then a
09:48 smaller vehicle and that was then of course the Batwing because of course
09:52 this time around we got ourselves a Batmobile which we can just bring in
09:55 here for comparison sake because we got the Batmobile it then makes logical
09:59 sense that the invisible jet is gonna be a little bit smaller in size we get like
10:02 the main vehicle for example and then the secondary vehicle being slightly
10:06 smaller we got the invisible jet I guess that's not a bad thing because we did
10:09 get an invisible jet and that's all that really matters when it comes to
10:12 collecting and displaying these on your shelf. Wondering perhaps I did push the
10:17 back section of the plane down too far that I wasn't able to remove it I did
10:20 put a little pressure against it and sure enough I was finally able to remove
10:23 it unfortunately though it did leave behind some stress marks in the plastic
10:27 of the clips now so when it comes now to displaying it I haven't put it all the
10:31 way in I have fitted into those grooves but I haven't pushed it as far down as I
10:35 did in this review so at least if I do decide I want to put this back in the
10:39 box I can remove it one thing I would certainly say if you guys decide to pick
10:43 up this one for yourself is don't put the back of the jet all the way and
10:47 don't force it to the point where it actually snaps in place ideally that's
10:50 what you want but unfortunately though it means if you ever decide down the
10:54 road yeah you want to disassemble the jet and put it back in the box you're
10:57 gonna have a real hard time and if anything you might unfortunately snap
11:00 those little tab pieces on the back of it so don't push it in all the way the
11:04 gimmick works still the same way at least the wings are something that are
11:08 removable if you ever decide you want it like I said break the break the vehicle
11:11 down I like the look of it it is unfortunately a little on the smaller
11:15 side but again because we got the larger size Batmobile it had to mean like
11:19 things like the invisible jet had to then play second to it and it's a little
11:22 bit smaller and squatter of a jet it still manages to fit inside a Wonder
11:27 Woman of course it still has the workening winch claw at the bottom of it
11:30 and that's one thing I'm glad to see that they incorporated if you're gonna
11:33 make a vehicle like this as small as they did at least include a gimmick that
11:38 gives a little something extra to it so you're not just literally buying a shell
11:41 of a jet that Wonder Woman sits inside of it I like the winch claw I think
11:45 that's a really nice function and instead of actually having to manually
11:48 wind it up as sometimes is the case with these winch claws you actually have a
11:52 feature on the back of the jet that you just again push down and it winds it up
11:55 automatically if that does eventually go on it though I don't know how easy it's
12:00 gonna be to kind of disassemble the jet like take it apart completely in order
12:04 to get in there but I'm glad it does actually have a working a claw something
12:08 for as a kid or as an older adult like myself some something that you can have
12:12 a little fun with outside of just displaying the jet on the shelf
12:15 unfortunately doesn't also have any landing gears but because at least the
12:19 claws flat on the bottom of the jet it sort of does make it flat and stable
12:23 it's not gonna wobble back and forth at all on you what do you guys think of the
12:26 invisible jet let me know down below in the comment section could you see
12:28 yourselves picking this up and have you been collecting any of these super
12:32 powers vehicles or are you kind of just more keeping to the figures themselves
