00:31 The smartest thing to do was to put it on a double disc
00:33 so Hannah would be on the other side
00:35 because at the time I wasn't valued
00:38 in the way that Hannah was,
00:40 that the magic was more in her.
00:42 And so this was a way that we could help people
00:45 put the two and two together,
00:46 that really the voice behind Hannah was always me.

00:54 was really where I started writing my own songs
00:57 as a solo artist.
00:58 And so I was working with a producer in Malibu
01:01 that lived in a house in Ramirez Canyon,
01:03 which I would have never known 15 years later,
01:06 I would be living in that house,
01:08 which would eventually burn down.
01:11 So that house had so much magic to it
01:15 that ended up really changing my life.
01:17 - The former couple lived in the house together until 2018,
01:20 when it was destroyed
01:21 by the devastating California wildfires.
01:24 The Wrecking Ball songstress was in South Africa
01:27 filming "Black Mirror" at the time of the tragedy.
01:29 But Liam was home and he was able to rescue their many pets.
01:33 Miley and the "Hunger Games" star
01:34 tied the knot in December 2018,
01:37 after a decade of on and off dating,
01:39 and announced their separation less than a year later.

01:45 for her new song, "Used to Be Young,"
01:47 in which she reflects on her former party days
01:50 and how she is not the same person she used to be.
