00:00 Here's today's Husker Max Practice Report brought to you by Tracy's Collision Center
00:05 on 14993 KLIN.
00:09 Oscar football head coach Matt Rule said on Sports Nightly that his team handling adversity
00:13 in practice will help them on game day.
00:15 But I love days like today.
00:16 What people have to understand about me is like, you know, sometimes you say, "Hey, it
00:19 wasn't a great practice," and I think everyone gets all up in arms like, "Every day is not
00:22 going to be great."
00:23 I love the chaotic days.
00:24 I love the days where it's like, "Man, you know, coach threw us off the field.
00:28 Coach this, coach that."
00:30 Because as I say to them, I'm not playing games with them.
00:32 I'm trying to teach them how to deal with chaos.
00:34 I'm trying to teach them how to deal with adversity.
00:36 Rule said that the chaos will help them on the field.
00:39 I want our guys to understand that on every game it's going to be chaotic.
00:44 It's going to be ugly.
00:45 It's going to be adversity.
00:46 And at some point, they have to just turn their brains off and go play football.
00:49 The chaos will begin for Oscar football in just eight days on August 31st when they take
00:54 on Minnesota at Huntington Bank Stadium.
00:57 With this Husker Max practice report, I'm Matt McMaster.
