00:11 and I hope you all are having a great Tuesday.

00:13 Today we're kicking off today's episode

00:15 with a friend to the show that always comes

00:17 with great information on community events.

00:19 How are you, Jasmine, and what is new in Kern County?

00:22 - I'm good.

00:23 What I'm really excited to talk about today

00:24 is that we are hosting an adult ultimate frisbee tournament

00:27 at North of the River at our Polo Park.

00:29 And so if there's anybody out there that really loves

00:33 the fun of playing a soccer or a football game

00:35 and wants a new challenge,

00:36 I encourage them to check out Ultimate Frisbee.

00:39 - Okay, now how much does it cost to sign up?

00:42 - So for our tournament,

00:43 which the deadline to register is by September 6th,

00:46 it is $350 for a team of eight.

00:49 So if you break that down between your colleagues,

00:51 your friends, or your group of teammates,

00:53 it's gonna be about $43 per person.

00:55 - Okay, and all this is co-ed?

00:56 - Yes, it is co-ed.

00:58 So it's 18 plus co-ed,

00:59 and we definitely want people to check it out.

01:01 It's a very accessible, fun sport that's for all abilities.

01:04 And to be honest, it's not always obvious

01:06 who's gonna be a strong player on Ultimate Frisbee.
