00:00Hey I'm Kieran. I'm Maya. We're playing with Wollongong Ultimate Frisbee Club and we're
00:05going to Spain in June to represent Australia in the world of 124
00:09championships. And we're here today to show you three different types of throws
00:12that you can do at home. So the first throw is a backhand throw and that's
00:16where you grip it like this with your four fingers underneath and you have
00:19your thumb on top and it's a very wrist based throw where you are gripping it
00:23back and throwing through with your arm.
00:28So our second throw is called a forehand. So you've got two fingers on the inside
00:32of the rim, your thumb holding up the top nice and tight and two supporting fingers
00:36on the edge of the rim and you're throwing it in a flicking motion with
00:39lots of wrist spin. And the last one is called a hammer throw. It's the same grip
00:48as a flick so the fingers on the inside pinching on the outside and thumb on top
00:52but then instead of throwing it through like that, throwing it over your head at
00:56an angle. Some people compare it to a tennis serve.
