00:05 her ex again. Big family occasions are always surrounded by drama in soaps, and in Emmerdale

00:12 the christening of baby Ruben Boyd Harris is no exception.

00:16 The whole of little Ruben's life has been surrounded by drama, of course. He was conceived

00:21 when Chloe and Mackenzie got together briefly after Mackenzie had a blazing argument with

00:26 Charity and she told him to scatter his seed elsewhere. Taking her words ridiculously literally

00:32 he chose to scatter in Chloe's direction and it wasn't long before she was revealing she

00:36 was pregnant. Mackenzie at first rejected the whole idea

00:40 of Chloe's baby as he was fully focused on trying to rebuild his relationship with Charity,

00:45 which he managed successfully all the way to a wedding ceremony. But as the birth approached

00:50 he began to change his mind, and after Ruben was born he realized that he had to have a

00:55 relationship with his son. When Charity discovered his betrayal it marked the end of their relationship.

01:02 Chloe and Mackenzie agreed to co-parent Ruben and then fell into a relationship themselves.

01:08 With the baby's christening coming up, Chloe and Mack seem to be settling into their new

01:12 family life and things are going well. But it's all about to change.

01:17 When the venue for the christening party falls through, Charity offers to host it at the

01:21 Woolpack and with no other options available Mackenzie goes to find Charity to take up

01:26 her offer. They share some emotional words and end up in a passionate embrace.

01:32 Afterwards, Mackenzie is sheepish and dashes out, returning home to Chloe. Not realizing

01:38 what he's been up to, Chloe is just grateful that he's sorted out the christening.

01:44 Mackenzie is feeling guilty and goes to Moira for advice, telling her what happened. She

01:49 points out that he could risk losing Ruben if Chloe was to find out what had happened

01:53 between him and Charity. Pondering Moira's words, Mackenzie is still torn between Chloe

01:59 and Charity. Meanwhile, Charity is hopeful that sleeping

02:03 with Mackenzie again means that there's a chance they could get back together and make

02:06 their relationship work. She confides in Chaz about what happened and how she's feeling.

02:12 As the christening begins, Charity is optimistic. Mackenzie is confused and poor Chloe is oblivious.
