00:00 Hi, my name is Brian Whitmore. I'm a calligraphy artist based at Cross Street Arts in Standish.
00:04 Recently, or the last couple of years, I've been doing wild calligraphy throughout the Wigan
00:10 borough with Louise Fizakli, the poet. We did it in 18 green heart spaces of Wigan and it went
00:16 down really well. People feedback on the social media was amazing. They said how much it helped
00:22 them with the day and their outlook on life and any problems they've got with their lives. Seeing
00:28 these words at random places to enhance the day. Following on from that, Rob Sanderson,
00:36 who's the CEO at Norton Priory, saw my work on Facebook and he contacted me and said,
00:43 "Do you think it would work at Norton Priory?" which is where we're at now. This week,
00:48 I'm going to install all my work in a beautiful space, the wall garden at Norton Priory, 2.4
00:55 acres of beautiful garden. It's just got a scene to believe, really. If you've been to Norton
01:02 Priory, you'll know what I'm talking about. Go and see the exhibition. If you've not been,
01:07 definitely go because it's got a beautiful priory, it's got a museum, it's got lush grounds,
01:13 and the garden is to die for. So all my work will be in the garden from the 28th of August
01:21 and then through the autumnal months to the beginning of November for all to see and enjoy.
