00:00 Here's today's Husker Max Practice Report brought to you by Tracy's Collision Center
00:05 on 1499.3 KLIN.
00:08 We are just 11 days away from Husker football's first game against Minnesota and head coach
00:12 Matt Rule revealed the current pecking order of the running backs.
00:15 I think we feel like Gabe is clearly the number one guy.
00:19 Ramir, clearly the third down back and still a runner, right?
00:23 But Ramir's ability to track protections and catch the ball in the backfield is pretty
00:27 special.
00:28 Every time a scout comes in here I tell them all, "Hey, had you Michael Hasty at Baylor
00:31 still playing?"
00:32 I say, "He's just like him.
00:33 He can run option rounds, choice routes."
00:34 So I think Ramir's got a future.
00:36 So I think kind of situationally those two guys and then Anthony is, when the ball's
00:40 in his hands, Anthony's elite running the football.
00:42 Anthony just, he's put the ball on the ground too much.
00:44 He's fumbled the ball too much.
00:46 And no matter how talented you are, if you fumble the football you can't play for us.
00:49 So we're going to continue to work on it with AG.
00:51 He's had a good camp up until the last couple days in terms of sort of turning the ball
00:54 over but it's been an issue.
00:57 With this Husker Max practice report, I'm Matt McMaster.
