00:00 with Terrence back and healthy, just what has he been able to do the last couple of weeks
00:03 and providing that room on the field, off the field, and a room that's kind of changing this year?
00:08 Yeah, I think it's been good to have T-Ferg rolling around again out there on the football field.
00:14 I thought he's made some nice plays for us.
00:18 Obviously, he hasn't been in the same number of workouts and stuff that everybody else has,
00:21 so getting back in the group of things, he's picking up right where he left off,
00:25 so it's exciting to see him back, and I think he's doing a really good job.
00:28 Him and Pat both are doing a really good job of being senior leadership in that group
00:33 and providing a lot of good direction and what it's like to play major college football for some of those new guys,
00:39 but also how to take care of yourselves and how to prepare like a veteran.
00:43 What does Casey bring to the table that you like to add into the room, and just how has his progression gone?
00:48 Yeah, so Casey is a super tough kid, physical player, smart football player.
00:54 He's obviously played a lot of football, played in some big games and stuff like that,
00:58 so he's a guy that comes in obviously with experience,
01:02 so the learning curve for players like that is much smaller.
01:05 The terminology may be a little bit different, but he's a guy that can integrate himself in there pretty quickly.
01:12 He's, like I said, played a lot of good football.
01:14 He's got a really good skill set, but he brings a lot of energy into that room,
01:18 and then last year we played with some guys that had played a bunch,
01:21 and so to have another one in the room right there that can compete and then level up our depth,
01:27 and potentially be a starter and stuff like that is fantastic.
01:31 How did you get on your radar? Do you know him before this last year?
01:34 When did you start seeing him, seeing his stuff?
01:38 So he was a guy that was out there, and then I knew that he was out there,
01:44 but in this day and age, in the portal, you've got to do a lot of good research on players,
01:48 and thankfully Wilson Love, our strength coach, had been there and knew him personally,
01:53 and then Tysheem, I asked Tysheem, I said, "Tell me about this guy, tell me about this guy,"
01:57 and so both of those guys had great things to say,
02:00 and everything that I was told is everything that this guy has been,
02:04 and so he's been awesome. We're super glad to have him.
