00:32 I think everybody knew that Leeds had a seriously talented youngster there.
00:34 We've obviously seen him for the 21s and the 23s,
00:37 all sorts of facets to his game, really.
00:39 Obviously, both being a defensive midfielder as part of that pivot
00:41 and also a normal centre mid, but even more attacking.
00:44 I mean, I was at Helen Road in one of the 21s games
00:46 when he scored a fantastic audacious lob.
00:48 I mean, just always looked like a very, very good player.
00:50 I suppose the thing was, was, you know,
00:52 can he come straight into the first team and settle in?
00:54 And even though he finished heavily in pre-season,
00:56 you sort of like wondered, you know,
00:58 are we doing the right thing here?
00:59 Actually thinking he'll start the opening game of the season,
01:01 but you kind of felt like he would purely because of how many minutes
01:03 he played during the summer friendly games.
01:05 And he's just come in, like, taking it like it's just been smooth sailing,
01:08 you know, absolutely like duck to water job.
01:10 And I think him and Ampadu in the centre midfield,
01:12 like, you know, there aren't many positives at the start of the season for Leeds,
01:15 but those two in the middle of the park is one of them.
01:18 I mean, I think whatever happens with this team,
01:20 I think they could probably still do with another midfielder in as well.
01:22 But I think those two, you know,
01:23 as a midfield pivot should work really, really well.
01:26 You can't put too much pressure on him.
01:27 And Daniel Sfarke said that himself, you know,
01:29 he sort of two points to what Daniel said about Archie really,
01:32 which is that number one, you know,
01:33 you can't sort of like rely on a player like that for the whole season,
01:36 which is understandable.
01:37 You can't really, you need to have more than that,
01:38 despite him being a superb talent.
01:40 But he's also said basically, if you're good enough,
01:43 then, you know, you'll play, you know,
01:44 it doesn't matter about your age.
01:45 And, you know, even though he's 17, I think, you know,
01:47 he literally is already becoming one of the first names on the team sheet,
01:50 which sounds like a bit of a, you know,
01:51 big thing to say about a 17 year old who's only played two league games,
01:54 but he has looked that good.
01:56 As I say, solid as a CDM, like very, very calm, composed,
01:59 get stuck in, already put some good tackles in.
02:01 He's got a great range of passing,
02:03 but interesting as well when he played as a number 10 in the first half
02:06 against Shrewsbury, I thought he looked really good in that position.
02:08 He made lots of good darting runs, you know, between the lines,
02:11 but basically just wasn't picked out.
02:12 So, yeah, I think the biggest question mark of Archie long-term really will be
02:16 where he plays, whether he plays as a centre midfielder or a bit, you know,
02:18 a bit more higher up the pitch or as a CDM,
02:20 but an extremely, extremely talented player that's going to continue the
02:23 great history and Leeds have got a special one on their hands there.
02:26 A special man, a special boy, should I say, on their hands there for sure.
