00:00 everybody welcome into another edition of the big ten show he's
00:04 the almost famous Adam Carriker I'm the much less famous Jeff
00:08 turn brought to you by Jacobson seed company the hybrid leader
00:13 so you have more yield in your field so you can watch more of
00:15 the guys on the field come Saturday and Sunday you don't
00:18 have to worry about all the nonsense that goes on with our
00:21 work life check out Jacobson seed company online for all your
00:25 seed needs I'll tell you more about it a little bit later now
00:27 listen Adam last week was slacking once again so for those
00:32 of you that tuned in, you got to see my impersonation of the
00:35 aforementioned Adam Carriker Adam low average, average, you
00:41 always do you always do this look up you always look up at
00:44 something like there's some like magical man that's gonna
00:46 come down with some wisdom because I'm cutting the wrestling
00:48 promo on your Rudy Pooh candy ass Come on now. So that's what
00:53 I was trying to do. But you say below average though, huh? I
00:57 expected better. Uh maybe it's cuz your hair was combed and
00:59 that threw me off. I didn't know what to do with that. Holy
01:02 **** I would go to the mirror. I don't know why. I have more I
01:06 have more questions before we start today because we have
01:08 plenty of realignment to get to. There's 74 thousand
01:11 different teams now in the big ten and the big twelve and the
01:14 ACC may be dissolving just like we just saw the pack twelve
01:18 dissolve but two questions. First of all, you look like a
01:22 guy that enjoys the finer things in life. So, I'm gonna
01:26 show this to every, do you, do you ever indulge in Babybel,
01:31 Babybel cheese? Do you know what this is? I do not know what
01:34 that is. Okay, next time you're at the keys. Next time you're
01:38 at the, so who does the grocery shopping at your house? Well,
01:42 the online, you can order it online now and then they just
01:45 bring it out to you in your car. So, you don't even have to
01:47 go in in in the store anymore. So, I haven't gone inside a
01:50 grocery store in like 6 months, dude. So, so next time you're
01:53 online, you need to type in Babybel, alright? The the
01:56 the sticker shock is gonna shock you but like, do you like
01:59 string cheese? Do you like cheeses? Do you like just
02:01 grabbing a cheese snack and eating it? I do. I did more
02:05 when I was a kid than now. I feel like this is out of
02:07 nowhere but I'm sure it's leading somewhere. Oh, it's
02:09 nothing. I just scarfed. I scarfed down like three of them
02:12 before we started today. So, I'm just wondering if you did
02:15 everything. So, so now. I hope you're professional on this
02:19 show. Absolutely but people at home are like, yeah, dude, I
02:22 love those things, man. I eat them all the time. The other
02:23 guys like, I'm gonna do what Adam's doing. I'm getting
02:25 online and buying them next time. Alright, cool. So, so
02:28 that's the one. My wife orders them and half the time I get
02:31 them, half the time she gets them but we always just sit on
02:34 our butts in the car and normally, we're watching the
02:36 Big Ten Show with Jeff Trent and Adam Carricker as they
02:38 bring the the groceries on out to us. Perfect. So, next time
02:41 you're ordering them, make sure you get a thing of Babybel
02:43 cheeses and you get to unwrap some wax that's around the
02:47 cheese and you're gonna eat the cheese and like, they're
02:49 expensive but they're delicious. In question number
02:51 two. Is this a sponsor? Are we getting paid? No, this is
02:54 complete. Okay, alright. Alright, let's work. Just, I'm
02:57 just throwing it out there. Alright, number two, we're
03:00 talking about this before the show. We're gonna make some
03:03 predictions on our our we're gonna do two shows starting
03:06 Labor Day weekend instead of just one for all you Big Ten
03:08 fanatics out there and we're gonna have picks every single
03:11 week against the spread. We may do like our three best picks of
03:14 the week in the Big Ten, each of us but we have to have
03:17 something on the line and I asked Adam before the show if
03:21 he had any tattoos. Now, he may be the only NFL player to play
03:25 in the league that didn't have at least some ink on his body.
03:28 So, you said you didn't and then the immediate part after
03:31 that, you said, I am not gonna get a tattoo if I lose. I'm not
03:36 losing but I'm not getting a tattoo if I do somehow lose. So,
03:39 here's the deal. Yes, you are. Um so, let's put on the line
03:44 for the people, some ink. Um the other person, so, you lose,
03:49 you get, you can get your initials of your kids, man. You
03:51 can get something, something sweet on your body. Come on,
03:54 man. Come on, man. No, I, it's true. This is true. Several
03:58 times in my life, I've been this close to getting a tattoo.
04:01 Probably at least a half dozen but II always say, I'm gonna
04:04 wait a year and if I still want the same exact thing in a year,
04:07 I'll go get it. Every time in a year, it changes. So, I haven't
04:10 figured out something that I want on my body for a year yet
04:13 you are going to dictate that I have to put something on my
04:16 body. If you somehow pull a rabbit out of your rear end. No,
04:20 I'm not doing it too. I got I got the initials of my wife uh
04:24 on my shoulder. It's the only tat I got. Uh I'm not like all
04:28 inked up. Come on. Will you at least consider it? You can get
04:30 your kid. A year from now, you don't want your kids initials
04:33 on your body. Come on, man. I've thought about my kids. Do
04:36 you not love your kids or what? I, well, that's took a, that
04:39 escalated quickly. I've thought about my kids. I've thought
04:42 about my wife and I don't know. I I just I can't figure out
04:46 where to put it, how it should look. I'm not asking you to put
04:49 it on your forehead, man. You can put it somewhere. I'm not
04:52 asking you to get teardrops for every child like I mean, the
04:56 the answer is no right now, my friend. No. Oh my god. Not at
04:59 the moment. Well, one of us is tough enough to get a tattoo
05:02 and his name has initials of J and T. Uh that is me. So,
05:05 practical jokers. Have you seen a practical jokers? Yes. Yes.
05:08 Okay. Jaden Smith on Sal's thigh. Okay, do you remember?
05:12 Did you see the punishment? What's wrong with that? You can
05:15 do whatever. On the other side. I mean, what? What you get, you
05:20 just gotta get some ink, man. When you lose. No. Oh god. No.
05:25 Alright. We'll continue to push that. Um between last week and
05:30 this week, the Big Ten looks completely different. The Pac
05:32 Twelve has dissolved and the ACC may be next. Adam just,
05:36 we'll get to the specifics in a second but like what the hell
05:39 just happened over the last week in college football? Well,
05:42 technically, the Pac Twelve is not dissolved. It is now the
05:44 mighty Pac Four, okay? It is a mighty power five. I think
05:49 there's, yeah, there's still five power conferences if we
05:51 count the mighty Pac Four. I mean, it's the almighty dollar.
05:54 That's what it is. You know, it's one of those things where
05:56 you can make more money if you take teams from other
06:00 conferences, make your conference bigger and you've
06:02 got teams on the East Coast, you've got the Seattle market,
06:05 you got Phil Knight, you got Nike in Oregon and now you're
06:08 down in the LA market and now you got the DMV, Washington DC,
06:12 Maryland, Virginia. Now, you've got almost everything in
06:15 between seemingly. The Big Ten is going to be rolling in.
06:18 They're already rolling in the dough. They're going to be
06:21 rolling in so much dough. It's gonna make billionaires blush
06:24 and it's a phenomenal business model from just making money.
06:29 When you come to is it good for college football? I don't
06:33 really think that it is. Okay, I like three, four, five
06:37 conferences. I like things being split up a little bit. I
06:40 like rivalries like we're not gonna get the Civil War
06:42 anymore. Oregon, Oregon State to be clear, people don't get
06:45 confused. The Civil War, I'm talking about Oregon, Oregon
06:47 State. You got the Apple Cup. Okay, uh you Texas, Texas A and
06:51 M. We're finally gonna get that back but Nebraska, Oklahoma's
06:53 been gone for years. We're not gonna have the backyard brawl
06:56 and we still haven't had the backyard brawl which is
06:58 Pittsburgh, West Virginia for years and I know I'm not just
07:01 talking Big Ten teams here but I like rivalries and I miss
07:04 rivalries and I understand things change. I have accepted
07:08 it. I don't have to like it but at the same time, college
07:11 football is not going anywhere because its foundation is so
07:14 strong. It's only gonna continue to build and build.
07:16 And specifically for the Big Ten, the addition of Washington,
07:19 the addition of Oregon, they already added UCLA and USC and
07:24 it feels like the ACC is where they're gonna go next and that
07:28 really hinges on whether or not uh Florida State can get out of
07:32 their grant of rights deal. If they can and they can legally
07:36 get out of that and that means probably Florida State's gonna
07:38 go to the SEC. That's gonna open up Pandora's box for North
07:42 Carolina and Virginia and these teams that the Big Ten has
07:46 identified. I still think Adam as we think about the ACC and
07:51 all of this and how that may affect additional teams in the
07:53 Big Ten, the linchpin to all of it is still Notre Dame. If
07:58 Notre Dame decides to stay independent, it it will not
08:03 change the ACC with regards to it not dissolving. If Notre
08:08 Dame wants to join the AC and join a conference, the ACC, the
08:12 ACC will stay around. If Notre Dame wants to join the Big Ten,
08:17 teams are gonna start jumping again to the Big Ten and
08:20 leaving the ACC. I think the key component in the ACC's
08:24 demise or or or the teams saying, alright, we got Notre
08:29 Dame. We can stick around. I don't think Notre Dame's gonna
08:31 go to a conference though. They're already negotiating
08:33 with NBC. So, if we take Notre Dame out of the equation, which
08:36 means we're not going to the Big Ten, not going to the ACC.
08:39 The Big Ten is gonna start plucking teams from the ACC as
08:43 soon as Florida State's grant of rights deal is negotiated
08:47 through the the the court system and I would imagine as
08:51 we've heard the rumors, teams to jump to the to the Big Ten
08:55 would be North Carolina, would be Virginia. Those were the two
08:59 teams that they were targeting all along and then you'll kinda
09:01 go from there. If I'm the Big Ten, I'm I'm taking all comers
09:05 from the AC. There's not a team in the ACC that I wouldn't take
09:08 if I'm the Big Ten. So, two parts to that. One, I disagree
09:14 about Notre Dame. I think Notre Dame's, I think Notre Dame's
09:17 arrogance could be their undoing. They don't have the,
09:20 they don't have the power that they once had, okay? So, for me,
09:24 alright. That brand, that's the power still? No, they need to
09:28 join a conference cuz here's what's gonna happen and we've
09:30 talked about this. It's eventually gonna be the Big Ten.
09:33 It's gonna be the ACC and then I, you said a third
09:35 conference and I, I said, hey, I think you're right. It's gonna
09:38 be the Big Twelve which is gonna be a conglomerate of
09:40 everybody else just kind of all rolled into one and which is
09:44 ironic since everyone thought the Big Twelve was dead this
09:46 time 2 years ago and now they may be one of the only three
09:49 teams uh three conferences standing and they may be the
09:52 largest conference. Right now, there is, if you include Notre
09:56 Dame and you should even though they're not in a conference,
09:57 there's 69 power conference teams. So, if the SEC's at 20
10:01 and the Big Ten's at 20, okay, that leaves 29 and II don't
10:05 know why UConn with their basketball programs isn't a
10:07 power conference team topic for another day. So, the Big
10:10 Twelve could have anywhere from twenty to potentially 28, 29,
10:13 30 potential teams and they could be the biggest
10:16 conference. Now, whether that's the best, I don't know. That's
10:18 a topic for another day but everybody's going somewhere
10:22 that can go anywhere. Nobody wants to get left out in the
10:25 cold and what's eventually gonna happen is you're gonna
10:27 have to be a part of a conference in order to be able
10:30 to survive and do some of these things. Now, Notre Dame's
10:33 gonna have options. The SEC, the Big Ten, the Big Twelve
10:36 will absolutely take Notre Dame. I, you know, I actually
10:40 have this crazy cuz Notre Dame marches to the beat of their
10:44 own drum times ten. I have this crazy notion like just like
10:48 Oregon and Washington. Just join the Big Ten at a discount
10:51 and then 6 years from now, there'll be a full-fledged
10:53 member. They're getting the same money everyone else is but
10:55 right now, they're at a discount. It wouldn't shock me
10:58 if the Big Twelve said, we want Notre Dame and we'll give them
11:00 a ridiculous deal. Way better than everyone else in the
11:04 conference. Notre Dame says, we're better than everyone
11:06 else. Uh up yours Big Ten SEC and they go to the Big Twelve.
11:09 That wouldn't shock me. Geographically, it makes sense
11:11 to go to the Big Ten. And it's the one that can win the
11:13 easiest. They can win that conference. Well, that too. All
11:16 those things. It wouldn't shock me if one day they go to the
11:18 Big Twelve. Okay. Crazy. Be crazy. I do think they're gonna
11:22 have to join a conference eventually just the way that
11:25 things are going. I mean, there could be a could it be
11:28 potential? I don't think so. I think there'll always be
11:30 non-conference games especially and this was actually
11:33 tweeted out by a fan. So, I wanna give him a shout out. At
11:36 Husk Guys. Okay. They said, this could be Nebraska's
11:38 potential nine-game conference schedule in a couple years.
11:42 Okay, this is very realistic. Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan
11:45 State, Wisconsin, Iowa, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington. Like
11:51 there's two wins on there. Murderers Rose Slate. And so,
11:55 for that reason, there's enough teams to have, you know, you
11:58 just stay within your conference and and play
12:00 everybody in your conference or as many teams as you can if
12:02 you're without non-conference but because of that, there's
12:05 always gonna be non-conference games so teams can treat them
12:08 as preseason games, Patsy games, get ready type games but
12:11 my question is, if this is my schedule, let's just say, I'm
12:15 Iowa or I'm Wisconsin, okay? And replace a couple of those
12:18 two teams. Am I really gonna wanna schedule Notre Dame when
12:21 I'm trying not to beat myself up before my conference
12:24 schedule and then a conference. You've talked about a four-team
12:26 conference playoff potentially and then you got the twelve
12:29 team playoff. Am I really? And this is where I think Notre
12:31 Dame could get in trouble if they don't join a conference
12:34 because other than USC and is USC gonna wanna play them? Is
12:37 that rivalry? Rivalries are losing nostalgia. I actually
12:40 think the reverse. I think Notre Dame will be okay for
12:43 about 5 years and in about 5 years, they're gonna have to do
12:46 something and that that's my opinion. I wanna touch on a
12:51 couple other things with you, Adam Carriker, Jeff Turner here
12:53 with you on the Big Ten Show brought to you by Jacobson Seed
12:56 Company, Jacobson Seed.com, all kinds of products for your
13:00 farming needs, corn, soybeans. Hey, gotta have the small grain
13:04 seed treatments, corn treatments, and more. What do
13:06 you prefer more, Adam? Do you prefer prefer corn on the cob
13:10 or cream style corn? Corn on the cob. Easy. Hands down. Me
13:14 too, man. I smashed down some on Sunday and I had three ears of
13:18 corn and they they were huge. They had to have been Jacobson
13:21 Seed Company corn. Uh alright. So, we we have a a conundrum on
13:26 one side for the the have nots. We have plentiful wealth for
13:31 the haves as they're continuing and as we saw Oregon and
13:34 Washington got less money but eventually we'll get more and
13:39 this this conversation I think of realignment can be broken
13:42 down in many different facets but I wanna attack three of
13:44 them with you and go one by one here. First of all, we we just
13:47 got done talking about is it good for college football? Is
13:51 it good for college athletics? Because are those but those are
13:56 two different questions I think because college football is you
14:01 know singular in this conversation of realignment.
14:03 Nobody's moving conferences for their lacrosse team or their
14:08 hockey team or even their college basketball team. It's
14:10 all based on college football and I think from a financial
14:13 standpoint, many would argue it is good for the teams that are
14:16 in the power three, two, whatever it turns out to be
14:18 because they're making more money but from the on the field
14:21 standpoint, you are losing rivalries as you talked about
14:25 and you discussed that very well but college athletics, man,
14:28 I don't really care about the swimming team at Stanford like
14:32 on a daily basis but I was thinking about it the last week.
14:35 I I just feel like what a crappy situation if you are a
14:42 you know, a golfer or a tennis player on USC or UCLA and you
14:49 have to travel to Rutgers to play or you're going to go from
14:55 like if the ACC does add Stanford to Clemson, South
15:01 Carolina and to me, that seems really stupid. Would you be on
15:07 board if college football just plucked itself away from all
15:11 other athletics and and these conference realignments don't
15:15 affect the other sports? I don't know if they could they
15:17 could you know, go in reverse at this point but it feels like
15:21 there was no consideration for anyone but college football
15:24 here. When I be on board, the answer is yes but you create a
15:28 whole another problem and that is that the big revenue makers
15:32 are football first, then a distant second is basketball
15:36 and I love all the other sports. I respect all the other
15:40 sports but the fact is those other sports need football and
15:43 basketball to help cover the the cost of their sports because
15:46 they don't make money and a lot of them are actually in the red.
15:49 That just is what it is. I say that with all due respect. So,
15:52 I don't think you I don't think you can separate them. If you
15:55 do, these other sports are going to be in way more trouble.
15:58 Now, to your point, it's interesting. You think about
16:02 it's purely a college football decision. What is going on
16:05 right now because you know, the conference with more
16:07 championships than any other conference in America when you
16:10 include or it's the well, the pack four but yes, it was the
16:14 pack twelve. Look how that look how much that matters and the
16:16 school with the most amount of championships is Stanford and
16:20 they're they're hung out to dry right now. Like, it is about
16:23 college football and I actually thought college basketball
16:26 might be included in this a little bit more but to my Yukon
16:29 point earlier, clearly not near as much as I thought it would
16:32 have been. Otherwise, they would be a still be a power five,
16:36 four, three conference school. So, to me, you can't separate
16:39 football. The other sports, it sucks because when you play
16:44 basketball, baseball, softball, all these sports where you don't
16:46 just have a game once a week and then a bi-week a couple of
16:49 times and you're traveling two, three, four times a week and
16:52 you're making these journeys. It's going to be a nightmare and
16:55 they can try to, you know, they can do double headers in
16:57 baseball or if you're Ohio State and you're going to go play
17:00 Oregon, maybe you can the next day play Washington, okay? You
17:03 can lessen it a little bit. You can do pods. Maybe Washington,
17:06 Oregon, USC, UCLA, Nebraska because it's the western most
17:10 school uh out of uh the current Big Ten teams and you can put
17:13 them in a pod. There's things you can do to make it better
17:16 but there's no way it's actually better overall for the
17:18 student athlete. Alright, next, I ask you about the way that
17:23 these conferences are viewed by the college football playoff.
17:28 Say the Big Twelve stays as is. Say the ACC survives a couple
17:34 more years. Big Ten, SEC. How different is the criteria do
17:40 you think going to be at least in the immediate sense for a
17:44 team from the Big Twelve versus a team from the Big Ten? From a
17:47 team from the ACC versus a team from the SEC? Is there going to
17:52 be disparity or parity when it comes to the teams that are
17:55 part of the twelve team playoff? Oh, there's going to be way
17:58 more SEC and Big Ten teams. It's not even going to be
18:00 close. So, like an eight and four team is going to have the
18:03 leg up on a ten and two team. I think they'll be seen equally.
18:07 I think that will be the debate. It will be okay. You
18:10 got this ten and two team from the ACC or Big Twelve. Well,
18:12 there's eight and four team from the SEC and it probably
18:15 have to be nine and three from the Big Ten. I think it's just
18:17 one game difference probably. Yeah, it is SEC is giving that
18:21 little extra nod and so that's going to be the debate, okay?
18:25 So, you look at it right now. Right now, the SEC champ is
18:28 automatically in every year. The Big Ten champ is pretty
18:31 much automatically in every year with rare exceptions. It's
18:34 the Pac-12, the ACC, and the Big Twelve. Can their champ,
18:37 can they get in with four teams right now in the playoff? Can
18:39 they get in over a one loss SEC team? That's the debate
18:42 almost every year. So, that's what we're dealing with now and
18:45 it's just going to be more exponentially noticeable and
18:48 the more teams we add. I agree with you. I think the I think
18:51 the Big Ten and the SEC are going to be considered equal by
18:53 the committee and then the ACC maybe even a leg up on the Big
18:57 Twelve because you're talking about the likes of Clemson in
19:00 Florida State in that realm versus in Miami, the U shout
19:04 out. By the way, I want the U to go to the Big Ten. We're
19:08 going to dominate the hell out of everybody. You'd actually
19:10 have to play in cold weather for a once. You'd be screwed.
19:14 No, no. We all our home games, all our road games will not be
19:18 above like we're going to take on the West Coast teams.
19:20 That's where we're going. We're not. We don't have to.
19:22 Hold on. You're going to travel across country which is even
19:24 farther than just going up north which is far enough.
19:27 Because it's cold. And Arbor and Columbus and you don't want
19:30 nothing to do with Lincoln, Nebraska. I know that. Last
19:32 time, Miami came to Lincoln. They got their butts whooped
19:34 sideways, son. I was at that game. That's the only game I've
19:38 ever been to at Lincoln. God, that sucked. That was great.
19:41 That was great. So, you know, I I think when we when we talk
19:45 about the way that they're viewed, I think the ACC's can
19:48 even have a little leg up on the Big Twelve and and then II
19:51 do have a quick question for you before we get out of here.
19:54 Um actually, is there anything else that came to your mind
19:57 from the last week that that sparked your mind from what
19:59 happened? If you had to predict the next two teams to go to the
20:02 Big Ten and the SEC, who in your who in your opinion would
20:06 it be? You have to make a prediction. If you get it
20:07 wrong, you get four tattoos. Uh Clemson and Florida State SEC.
20:12 Okay. North Carolina, Virginia, Big Ten. So, Florida State. No.
20:17 Eventually, okay, they got their granted rights deal.
20:19 Eventually, do they go to one of those two? I think they go
20:21 SEC. Florida State, Clemson, SEC, uh North Carolina,
20:25 Virginia, Big Ten. Was it Miami you left out? Did I get that
20:28 wrong? Yeah, I did not. I did not put Miami on there at this
20:30 point. Where's Miami going? Are they not going anywhere? I'd
20:34 love to see them go to the Big Twelve. We have a shot. We
20:38 have, we're going to, we're going to hope that we have
20:40 lightning in a bottle and tomorrow, crystal ball and we
20:42 get some wins together because we can beat Big Twelve teams
20:44 like we can beat up on Dion. We can beat up on TCU but we
20:48 can't probably beat up on Ohio State of Michigan. I'm going to
20:51 be honest. So, you're taking the Notre Dame. You're taking
20:54 the Notre Dame. Oh, yeah, man. I'd rather, I'd rather have
20:57 you're not getting more money. You're not getting more money
20:59 like Notre Dame where you're not that important. No. Alright,
21:01 my next question is this because now, I'm starting to
21:03 look at the Big Twelve. Okay, let's say the ACC does
21:06 dissolve. The pack four goes away or is absolved by the
21:09 Mountain West or whatever they do. Who cares at this point?
21:11 Honestly, no disrespect. Sorry but it is what it is. Okay, now,
21:14 what is the Big Twelve do? Do they look at a school like
21:16 Oregon State and be like, well, at least we can get a foothold
21:18 in Oregon. What about Washington State? A foothold.
21:22 Like, I would, if I was the Big Twelve, then you answer this. I
21:24 would say, I'd like to at least have a foothold in those
21:26 states. They're not going to bring in a ton of extra revenue
21:28 and then we gotta divide the pie up with them. I don't know
21:31 if that financially makes sense but at least having a foothold
21:34 in some of these states. Otherwise, who gets left out?
21:36 Who is a power five team that's no longer a power five team?
21:39 One that sticks out in my mind, there's actually two. Wake
21:42 Forest because you got three other North Carolina schools
21:45 and Cal because you got three other California schools. What
21:47 do you think? I think academically, both of those
21:50 institutions and I heard Pete Thamel say this on ESPN this
21:53 week. Nothing makes school presidents titillate more. He
21:57 didn't say it that way. I like the word for good words.
22:00 Nothing makes school presidents titillate more than high
22:04 academic universities and from a private standpoint, Stanford
22:08 is top of the line. Shock. The Big Ten hasn't scooped in and
22:13 given them a deal. They are a perfect fit for the Big Ten and
22:16 Cal as far as public universities is like top three
22:19 in the country and so I'm shocked there. Wake Forest too.
22:24 I would see them being a good fit in the Big Ten. I think if
22:30 dude, if I'm the Big Ten, I'll take Duke. I'll take Wake
22:32 Forest. I'll take North Carolina. Who cares? I mean,
22:34 you're you're already to the point where numbers don't
22:36 matter and so I have to buy that many more times. That's
22:40 less money that they're getting plus those teams. They're not
22:43 going to bring it up. Networks more money. You say we got 30
22:46 teams so it won't do that. Oh, they will too. They're going to
22:50 go back to that. Not the Big Ten or SEC. The Big 12 might.
22:52 That's what I'm trying to figure out here. Oh, dude. The
22:55 Big Ten's going back for more, man. Oh, yeah, dude. They're
22:59 going back for more. They've already had their lawyers
23:02 called. They're not from those schools. Yeah. Well, they're
23:05 just going to say numbers wise like we we will have more games
23:08 for you to broadcast. Alright, folks. In the comments below,
23:12 let me know if you think that I'm right and if you think
23:15 Jeff is wrong. Just simply let me know if I'm right and Jeff
23:17 is wrong. That's it. Just let me know in the comments below.
23:19 Alright, do you have any other questions for me? Did you hear
23:21 how I worded that? Did you even did that go right over your
23:23 head? Yes, it went over my baldness. I'm good. Go ahead.
23:28 Okay, my final question is this. Now that we know Oregon
23:32 and Washington, UCLA, and USC are coming to the Big Ten. Um
23:36 as a Husker fan and I'm going to claim to be a Minnesota fan
23:40 even though I just claim him because I went to school there.
23:43 What is the game that you're most excited about watching?
23:47 Homer away against Oregon uh against Washington, UCLA, or
23:54 USC? Well, the two that jump out to me are Oregon and USC.
23:59 What'd you say? I said one. You don't get to pick two. I'm
24:05 narrowing it down. Gosh dang it. Alright. Um those are the
24:08 two that popped into my head but I'm I'm going to go with
24:10 USC. USC is one of the top five programs of all time. Maybe
24:14 even higher than that. So, uh as a kid, I still remember
24:18 watching Don James coached Washington team play Nebraska
24:21 2 years in a row and 2 years in a row we almost beat him but
24:24 we didn't and one of those years they won the national
24:26 championship. So, I still have those memories in my head plus
24:29 I grew up in the state of Washington but I'm still going
24:32 to go with USC. And so, is that would you are you more
24:35 excited to see the Nebraska game at the Coliseum or
24:38 Nebraska host USC? Oh, in Lincoln. Okay. I played in the
24:43 Coliseum. It's it's it's okay. I I Lincoln definitely looking
24:47 forward to that. Okay. Listen, the home games for the Gophers,
24:50 it's much better than the metronome but I still instead of
24:53 Huntington Bank Stadium, I can't wait to watch the Gophers.
24:56 The mighty mighty Gophers roll up in to the Coliseum and bite
25:01 the ankles of those Trojans and roll out of there with a dove,
25:05 okay? I can't wait to see that and then the second one, I
25:08 don't know if you've ever seen a duck in a gopher fight but
25:10 the winner is always a gopher. I'm looking forward to rolling
25:14 up there as well. Taking a little film night money and
25:17 heading on back to to Minneapolis. So, those would be
25:20 the two. I gotta pick two. You only gotta pick one. Um so,
25:23 that's gonna do it for us today. Check us out on YouTube,
25:27 iTunes, and Spotify and our good friends at Jacobson Seed
25:30 Company for bringing you the Big Ten Show, Jacobson Seed.com.
25:34 Again, less time in the fields, bigger yields, and you can
25:38 watch more college football. Nothing better than that. Adam,
25:41 uh we will get into some more. I'm sure realignment next week.
25:44 I'm tired of just talking to you so I'm gonna book us a
25:47 guest for next week as well. Uh last week. Unlike you, I spent
25:52 time with my family. My family hates me. Uh so, we will. Uh
25:57 you know, seriously, this guy, you you need to follow him on
25:59 Twitter. He posts some of the best pictures of his kids. He's
26:03 he's a big time family man. Uh slightly below average host but
26:06 a great dad. I gotta show you guys before we go. This is how
26:10 great. This is my son today. Let me get uh uh at preschool.
26:16 What do you think? We are such good parents. We don't teach
26:21 our kids how to dress appropriately, okay? Nice. He's
26:23 wearing like the toga. Nice. Toga on today at preschool.
26:28 That's how we roll. You're studying another page. Yeah.
26:31 He's a Trojan. Uh as another page is turned here on the Big
26:37 Ten Show. Look forward to hanging out next week. Be well
26:39 y'all. We'll see you there.
