00:21 But yeah, man, we just knew we had unfinished business.
00:24 We all came back, we have goals and expectations for the football team this
00:28 year, so we're gonna come back to work.
00:31 >> As a follow up, did you think about the residual message your decision,
00:36 Jared's decision, Johnny's decision would have not only on the program, but
00:40 also on recruits that are coming in, thinking that, geez,
00:43 if those high profile trio came back for another year when they could have gone for
00:48 the money, what does that say about what they're coming back to?
00:52 >> Yeah, I mean, we committed to Florida State University.
00:55 When you commit to a school, you have to give your best and
00:58 pray for the best for the future for the school.
01:01 So I mean, obviously, coming back was big for everything, recruiting, obviously.
01:07 All of us coming back, I mean,
01:08 it brings confidence back to this football team, a lot of experience.
01:11 So yeah, I mean, it's in the back of your head about the end of the day,
01:14 you gotta do what's best for you, and I feel like we all do what's best for us.
01:17 >> You talk about expectation, you've got the Heisman Trophy prospect,
01:20 you've had the perfect 10 win season.
01:22 And now the ACC Championship is something that this team is looking forward to
01:25 going back to 2014.
01:27 For you, what's that like to have that kind of pressure,
01:30 that confidence going to the ACC?
01:31 >> Yeah, there's no pressure ever.
01:33 We're focused on LSU, that's all we're focused on right now.
01:36 We take it, this football team does a good job just taking it day by day,
01:39 week by week, and game by game.
01:41 When it comes to game week, I mean, we're focused on LSU,
01:44 we're not focused about Southern Miss.
01:45 I just think Coach Tarbell does a good job of keeping our head straight,
01:50 keep the main thing the main thing.
01:51 And we have an off day tomorrow, we got meetings tomorrow,
01:53 come back from meetings.
01:54 Give everything we've got, we have to have intensity in everything we do.
01:57 Yeah, we're just focused on the game in front of us.

02:11 I feel like Jacksonville just tells you how your season's gonna go every single year.
02:15 You can come here and have a bad mindset, and come out here in this heat, and
02:20 have your head down, and complain.
02:21 I feel like this football team did an amazing job this year,
02:23 just coming to work every single day.
02:25 The smile on our face, I mean, sleeping in those dorms are not fun,
02:28 I'll tell you that.
02:28 Staying out in this heat is not fun either.
02:31 But these guys have a positive mindset, and
02:33 we've worked our tails off every single day.
02:35 It started with yesterday, I mean, just the energy everyone brings.
02:39 And obviously, just the brotherhood and the bonding you can do in a place like
02:43 this, we're all in the same apartment building, we're with each other all day.
02:46 It's really big, and I feel like we're growing as a football team, and
02:49 we're growing as people every single day.

02:52 Is that kind of the point of being in Jacksonville,
02:54 that it's not supposed to be particularly fun?
02:57 >> Yeah, that's the point.
02:57 There's probably a lot of points, Coach Novelli doesn't really tell us all of
03:01 them, but I mean, I feel like it's obviously for the staff.
03:03 I mean, we gotta move equipment, it's like a way game.
03:06 We gotta prepare that way.
03:07 I'm obviously adversity, I'm not being comfortable,
03:09 because you're not gonna be comfortable in life.
03:12 You gotta be comfortable being uncomfortable.
03:14 So that's what we're focused on, man.
03:17 Keeping our head held high, smile on our face no matter where we're at.
03:20 We're at Florida State University, and every time you have an opportunity to
03:23 come out on this football field and play for
03:26 the Seminoles is a blessing for the man upstairs.
