00:00 Go ahead and sue us.
00:01 This is Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Chief Azam Baky's response
00:05 to a letter of demand by former Home Minister Hamzah Zainuddin.
00:09 Hamzah alleged that the MACC had abused its power
00:12 and acted in a partisan political manner
00:14 after linking him to a corruption case.
00:17 At a press conference today,
00:18 the Perikatan Nasional Secretary-General said
00:20 his lawyer had sent a letter of demand to the MACC, Azam and the government.
00:25 Azam, however, denied Hamzah's allegation
00:28 and said the anti-graff agency will not bow to any threats against it.
00:32 He added that he will let the court decide on the matter,
00:35 though neither he nor the MACC have received a letter of demand yet.
