Boston on 71-Yard TD Catch

Denzel Boston talks about his 71-yard TD catch from Michael Penix Jr. in fall camp.

00:11 >> It was just amazing because it was from Mike.

00:16 And Mike, when he throws that ball out there, it's like, I gotta go get that.

00:19 It came from Mike.

00:20 So as you say, it was an NFL play.

00:23 It felt like an NFL play coming from Mike, I'd say.

00:25 And for him to put it in that spot, within a foot of the defender for

00:29 me to be able to still go get it and take it to the house, it felt great.

00:32 But I mean, it felt amazing to be able to do that and have that connection and

00:36 break three on a 71 yard touchdown.

00:38 It felt amazing.

00:38 >> What's it like playing for Coach Sheffield?

00:41 >> It's just excitement.

00:42 It's awesome.

00:43 There's times where he'll get on you, but it's all out of love.

00:46 That's the thing that I love about Coach Sheff.

00:49 He wants the best for his players.

00:50 And the one thing, if I was to describe with one word,

00:54 the only thing I can say is excitement.

00:55 That's all Coach Sheff brings is excitement.

00:57 4 AM, 6 AM, 5 AM.

00:59 It's excitement, it's high energy.

01:01 And he's always reminding us that the admittance of the room has gone up.

01:06 We gotta compete at a high level if you wanna be in the game.

01:08 >> With the guys that are, you've got three obvious guys.

01:12 >> There's a line there.

01:13 Is it hard to be patient?

01:14 >> It is hard to be patient because as a young player, you always wanna play.

01:21 You wanna be in the game, you wanna make plays, you wanna be that guy.

01:24 But with my position where I'm at right now, a lot of it has been being patient,

01:29 learning from those guys so I can implement that into my game and

01:32 continue on to this next level.
