  • last year
In this video, Nicole shows you how to make jalapeño popper pig shots. This delicious party recipe uses sausage, bacon, and jalapeño popper dip to make edible shot glasses. After piping the jalapeño popper dip onto the top of a sausage slice, wrap it in bacon, top with a jalapeño, and brush it with a sweet barbecue sauce glaze. Once they’ve baked in the oven, enjoy the smokey and creamy taste as an appetizer or at your next tailgate!

00:00 These edible shot glasses start with sausage and bacon.
00:02 They call 'em pig shots.
00:03 For the inside of our shots,
00:05 it's like a jalapeno popper dip.
00:06 I love it so much.
00:07 Starts with about half a block of cream cheese,
00:09 and to that I'm gonna add in a diced jalapeno,
00:12 sour cream, and cheddar cheese.
00:14 And then just go in with a little bit of Cajun seasoning.
00:16 Get in there and mix it all up.
00:18 Then we just add this mixture to a Ziploc bag
00:20 to make the process faster.
00:21 And then what you do is you take your sausage,
00:24 pipe on your filling,
00:25 and then wrap the bacon around both of those,
00:27 finish it off with a little slice of jalapeno.
00:29 I'm coating a mini muffin pan with cooking spray
00:31 just to make cleanup easier.
00:33 I almost forgot the glaze, but it's no big deal.
00:35 This is just a combination of barbecue sauce,
00:37 a little honey, and brown sugar,
00:39 and I'm gonna brush these over our shots.
00:42 Gotta love a little salty, sweet, and spicy.
00:45 Taste test.
00:50 Mm.
00:54 I need a minute.
00:57 It's everything you love about the smoky meats.
00:59 You get off the grill,
01:00 and the dips that you have at a party
01:02 that are your favorite.
01:03 You know, all in one.
01:04 Perfect.
01:05 Bye.
