00:23 Some houses were flooded
00:26 but despite the heavy rain, the water and mud remained.
00:32 Because of the heavy rain,
00:34 some residents had to move their belongings.
00:38 We were afraid that if the rain would continue,
00:42 we might drown.
00:44 Mang Pasito was also afraid.
00:46 His grandchildren were also at home.
00:49 If the rain doesn't stop,
00:51 we'll go inside until the door is closed.

01:25 24 barangays experienced flooding.
01:28 Their drainage was blocked.
01:32 They were in low-lying areas.
01:35 Maybe because of the COVID-19 pandemic,
01:38 the barangays were flooded.
01:41 The LGU carried out a cleanup operation
01:44 to clean the drainage and gutter.
01:46 They were able to get garbage
01:48 that was used to block the canals.
01:53 The other day, some parts of Metro Manila experienced rain
01:57 like Quezon City,
01:59 which has almost zero visibility.
02:01 The streets were flooded due to gutter-deep rain.
02:06 According to the DRRMO,
02:07 the combined effect of heavy rain and localized thunderstorm
02:10 caused the Metro Manila to be flooded.
02:13 Because of the rain,
02:15 water was added to the dams,
02:17 like Angat,
02:18 which is now at the minimum operating level.
02:22 According to the National Water Resources Board,
02:24 they expect to add more water
02:26 due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm,
02:29 even if the water service interruptions
02:32 may not be implemented first.
02:34 But NWRB reminds us...
02:37 This 180.7 meters
02:40 is not a high portable level.
02:44 It's the same as the minimum operating level of 180 meters.
